Diane 35 Pills Acne Side Effect

Hi I started taking Diane 35 a month and a half ago and within the first week my acne started getting worse, it's not at the worst it has been in years. I have also experience severe anxiety and depression as well as a lot of shakiness. Is this just the initial breakout or should I stop taking the pill altogether ?

These types of side effects can be normal for the first 3 months, or so, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience headache, irritability, PMS-like symptoms and spotting.

However, if they get severe, or don't go away after a few months, you should consult your doctor as you may need to try a different oral contraceptive.
