No, this medication does not turn toxic, once expired, but it does lose effectiveness, so it will not work as well as it did when new. If you still need a muscle relaxant, it would be best to dispose of the expired pills and obtain a new prescription.

It's most commonly used to treat muscle spasms, sprains and strains. This medication may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth.
