Cilift Withdrawal Symptoms And What To Do (Page 4)

Updated

I feel i am going mad! The only way I can explain how I feel is to say that it feels like vertigo - when you go over a very high bridge or look down from a very tall building. This wave comes from nowhere causing a momentary blackness, my arms go numb from my elbows to my hands and my feet do the same, I then get this awful feeling of butterflies in my chest and stomach. After a while it passes but it certainly doesn't seem to be going anywhere fast. How long will this go on? I am on Homeopathic treatment at moment.

Hi All. I was on Cillift 20mg one a day, for a year. After changing to a healthy lifestyle, I decided to stop using the tablets. During the first month I was well and endureth no side effects...but then two weeks later I became very ill, with heart pulputations, very high blood pressure, could not eat any solids, it felt as if I had a heart attack, and was rushed to hospital eventually. After many test all these symptoms were ascribed to a large Hiattis Hernia and I was put on Nexium 80mg a day. But I was thereafter rushed back to hospital three more times. I lost 15 kg in 3 weeks and was just skin and bone.
After being in ICU for one week, God sent a psyciatrist to come and speak to me in hospital and he discovered that I was suffering from severe anxiety and that all these symptoms was infact withdrawal and anxiety symptoms. It was mostly withdrawal symtoms which I was unaware of and my family and I was fearful that I was at the end of my life - which of coursed left me more anxious. I am back on Cillift 20mg and Alzam Adco 20mg for over a year again and would like to go off it. Only this time around I have God on mys side and the help of all I just read of "How to wean" Thanks. Never just stop any anti-depression!

Weet jy ek is op cilift al vir 'n paar maande, en partykeer is die side effects to erg dat dit selfs my opvlieend en humeurig maak (ek is 25 jarige vrou wat gewoonlik so onhumeurig soos 'n duifie is). My dok het my toe op trazodone gesit. Vra bietjie uit by jou dok daaroor?

I've been on Cilift for 7 years. I stopped taking them six weeks ago. I experience bursts of anger, rage, sadness and an overall feeling of hopelessness. maybe i should start taking it again.

Hi Nicola, is it really safe for pregnancy? I'm on it at the moment and we are trying for a baby

Hi there, Ive been on it since 2002 and trying for the second time to come off it. 1st time I weened like the doc said but felt like I wanted to murder my kids and hubby- terrible mood swings so hubby begged me to go back on. Now a year later I went cold turkey and its not going well at all- that's why I'm here! Its been 10 days and the weird zapping dizzy spells aren't letting up and I want to cry all the time. I almost wish I never went on Cilift in the first place! When I was on it, my panic attacks stopped but I never cried- nothing phased me, I was so uncaring and emotionless. Also ZERO sex drive- had no idea it was because of the drug! I'm adamant to stick it out this time and glad that my withdrawal symptoms are normal! Wish I knew for how long I have to put up with this! P.S It is safe to take during pregnancy but I wouldn't recommend Cilift- try something else!

I have stopped 10mg a day a week ago. Feel tired and dizzy. On 5th night had terrible nightmares. For a short time I saw blasts of lightning and noise in my head. This seems to be subsiding. 6 months ago I was on 30mg a day then reduced to 20mg 3 months ago and then 10mg for a month before I stopped last week. Must I just endure and my body will readjust to normal? One thing for sure my interest in sex has returned. I am 65 and thought I was impotent when on Cilift ........

Me too, my head is like an orbit in water. I get so nauseous from that. If I look away quickly I get this wave of sickness. Its horrible to go cold turkey but I have decided to do it anyway. Does anyone know how many days of this? Any tips?

I have been on Cilift for 5 years, had no weight gain. I went through my pregnancy with it, with no side effects to the baby. Cilift helped alot, I decided to go more natural with a homeopathic approach . The side effects after stopping with Cilift is not fun, I also have dizziness , and that feeling of miss firing inside your head. I am on day 7 now and hopes it goes away soon....

Thank you for that! That is exactly the feeling! I was on it for about a year! Have been having withdrawals for about a month. I am almost tempted to start again just to stop this awful feeling!

Ek dink jy moet VREESLIK stadig daarvan af gaan.

I am on Cilift for many years. I strongly recomend that you go on 20 mg. 10 Is a very light dose. It will surely make a huge difference.

Just take it at night time. Don't stop using it.
