Chlopromide 10mg

My dog is being prescribed this by the vet but I couldn't get a straight answer as to why. Google keeps changing the search to metaclopromide or chlopropmide I just want to know if it will effect his heart as he has a very bad murmer

Unfortunately, the information on this site and my own knowledge, is only pertinent to the use of medications in humans, so I really don't know what effect it may have on a canine.

Did you try asking the vet about side effects? If you're paying for it, you also have a right to know why you are expected to give it to your dog.

It may be that the correct name is Chlopropamide, if your dog has diabetes. Has the vet ever mentioned that to you?
