Celexa Medicine (Top voted first)
UpdatedI have been on 20mg of Celexa for 5 weeks now. I have noticed little difference. I have to take ativan to get through the day! When can I expect to feel better?

It usually only takes 4 to 5 weeks to reach its full level of efficacy in your body. If there's been no improvement, then it may not be the right medication to help you and you may need to try something else.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood swings and weight changes.
Have you tried any others?
Today makes 6 weeks on the Celexa. Not much difference. I have been on many other things, SSRIs, SNRIs, anti psychotics, bi polar meds. I've been on pretty much everything. I have OCD, major depressive disorder and generalized anxiety. I'm so tired of all these meds that don't work!
