Need to know if it's safe to take a soma and a percocet 10mgs together?

As long as your doctor approves and has prescribed them both. Muscle relaxants are often given with an opiate analgesic to help get better control of pain.

However, they can both cause depression of the central nervous system, which could be dangerous, if you're not opiate tolerant or have a condition that affects your breathing, such as COPD, or you heart rate, like hypotension or bradycardia.

The FDA classifies Percocet as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Soma is a muscle relaxant that may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth.

Many people who take opiates find that Soma also potentiates the effect. Is it safe, safe from what?

Please please be careful taking those together. Soma is a respiratory depressant and when combined with any pain medication or benzodiazepines it can increase. There are hundreds if not thousands of cases of people taking that medication mixed with pain meds and their breathing slowing to a stop since they can't feel much pain they end up dying from this. On a personal note I was addicted to opiates 12 years ago along with any meds I could get my hands on and took too much soma. Luckily my boyfriend at the time found me while I was turning blue from not breathing. So just remember most of these medications are respiratory depressants.
