Bystolic Scared To Take

I have high anxiety and high blood pressure cardiologist subscribed Bystolic after reading reviews I am so scared to take this drug I understand some side effects are normal but not seizures whay do I do

If you have high blood pressure, you are at far greater risk from not taking the medication than you are from taking it. High blood pressure creates the risk of heart attack, stroke, congestive heart failure and many other possible health problems, many of which could be fatal.

As to Bystolic's side effects, the most commonly experienced ones reported by the FDA including headache, dizziness and fatigue.

Seizures are very, very rare and most people that take this medication do not experience them and they are most often due to overdose.

I have not ,went to see nurse and explain concerns ,going to start today thanks for.all your help .

I took this medicine 2.5 MG 2nd day today and my tongue went numb it still is numb after approx 2 hrs of taking it still is numb 7 hrs later called cardiologist , nurse said to stop taking what is going on ? I knew I should have listened to myself now I am waiting to see what is going on

Katie I have taken Bystolic for several years with no side effects. But, what really caused my high blood pressure to settle down is Irbesartan. I'm 80 next month and my BP has been under 120/70. I think it's a wonder drug.
