Could it be one of the following:

Actos? Actos is most commonly used to help your body use insulin in a more efficient manner and aids in lowering high blood sugar. It also helps treat adult-onset diabetes/type ii diabetes mellitus.

Avandamet? This medicine is a combination of an insulin resistance reducer and a biguanide used along with a diet and exercise program to control high blood sugar in diabetic patients. Controlling high blood sugar helps prevent heart disease, strokes, kidney disease, blindness, circulation problems, and sexual function problems (impotence). This medicine may be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Avandia? This medicine is used to treat type 2 diabetes by reducing the resistance your body has to insulin. It is used either alone or in combination with other anti-diabetes medicines, including metformin or insulin, as part of a diet and exercise program.

Any of those sound familiar?
