In the beginning I used 2 alzam a day but Dr said 4 alzam a day and 2 per bloka.I suffer bad with anxiety. It gets so bad I turn to alcohol but then the next day I feel sooo sick, break out in sweats, heart palpitations and high blood pressure then keep wanting to have bad attacks that I take up to 6alzam but doesn't help. Vould anything bad happen to me?

Why did your Dr prescribe it? I hope not for the anxiety because if that's the reason, it WILL ONLY MAKE IT WORSE & THE MORE YOU TAKE THE HIGHER YOUR ANXIETY WILL GET. If you haven't been diagnosed with ADHD or Narcolepsy then yes, it will totally give you major anxiety & panic attacks. If your Dr prescribed it for anxiety you need to find a new Dr, because either he doesn't know what he's doing our he's getting kick backs from the pharmaceutical company to give it to add many of his patients as he can. Either way he stinks, get a new Dr. YES! It could make something bad happen like a major heart attack or stroke. For someone with anxiety AND high blood pressure this is TOTALLY the wrong medication for you. Face it, some drs are i****s or jerks or both.
Hi there. Still waiting for reply to previous message. I've gone through a divorce recently so when I drink I drink a lot and went out with a friend night before last and drank plenty cocktails and shooters and drank the hole day yesterday and I still drank my alzam. I got home last night and vomited a little and keep breaking out in sweats and shaking all over. My anxiety through the roof. My dr still has not changed my dose of 4 x 0.5mg alzam a day cos I said it doesn't help anymore at all even when I take up to 6. Can I die? A response to this and previous msg would b greatly appreciated.
I have told my doctor about the drinking. I have slowed down and seldom drink because I always feel fatally ill the next day. can I die from it? I have been on it for 12 years and it feels like it doesn't work anymore. I took 6 alzama yeserdy and I still wanted to have anxiety attacks. I can't live like this anymore. I have my own place but I'm always by my parents cos I suffer so bad with my anxiety. Shouldn't my docter have changed my medication already?
Hello, Charmain! How are you doing?
Alcohol is actually a depressant, so it's just going to cause more anxiety, especially if you're drinking so much that you're suffering from a hangover the next day. It's also cardiotoxic, which could be why you're suffering the palpitations and high blood pressure the day after a drinking bout.
So yes, something bad could happen to you, if you continue such behavior. I really think you need to inform your doctor about your drinking habits and get help with it.
Is there anything else I can help with?
