Albuterol Sulfate And False Positive Etg Alcohol Test

Firstly, I am 150lbs overweight. I use albuterol solution in a nebulizer everyday. I also have lung/heart disease so bad my pro air albuterol inhaler is a PRN rx. I also am diabetic and take glipzide, victoza and metformin and I have hypothyroidism. Is there any way I could ever pass an ETG alcohol test? I failed my very first test already.

Anything with alcohol which they never tell you. Albuterol , glycol , methanol and ethanol. Are all forms of alcohol. Also soaps have glycol and pain patches. As alcohol is the delivery component. Icy/ hot and so on. Lip balm and lotions. The list goes on. As far as the diabetes is concerned. Yes it can give a positive. As long as you surger is heigher than 300. Ketoacidosis releases keto acids into your urine. Which can give a positive etg reading. Do a thorough internet surch and you can find the information ! I hope this helps !

My po told me my drug screen came up positive for alcohol. I have not drank in 3 years. He sent it back for re-testing. I told him i forgot to put down albuterol on list of medications. I had bronchitis and i was taking ventolin and albuterol with nebulizer cause i couldn't breathe. I'm so scared my po is gonna come to my door and take me away. I just did 3 months in jail. My 13 year old son knows i didn't drink and do drugs. We are together 24/7. He's crying at night and keeps hugging me telling me i'm best mommy ever. It makes me cry that i put my son through so much with my drug use.. he saved my life numerous times. Hes finally starting to trust me again. Now this bulls*** false positive is killing me. I cant sleep, i'm having panic attacks. I'm afraid when my phone rings or someone knocking at my door. Can someone help me? Tell me i'm going to be ok? I'm so scared.

How did this work out for you? I too am currently using Albuterol (nebulizer) for bronchitis. I'm due to give a EtG test this week....

Rather funny you ask this question as I have just recently lost my inhaler.

Yes, ethanol, (cooking/drinking type of alcohol) will test positive for ethanol. I have tried using spectrum labs calibration solution - it seems to work. They can detect alcohol in urine. It is true. (gas chrom.. )

A: albuterol sulphate: with a propellant of ethanol.

B: albuterol sulphate with a fluocarbon based propellant.
