Yutopar Aka Ritodrine Experiences (Page 7)
UpdatedMy husband and I have had our daughter, which is now 30, tested for everything and the doctors can't seem to be able to give us a diagnosis, and things are not getting any better. My beautiful daughter has struggled and suffered so much and it breaks my heart to know that the Yutopar that was given to me, affected my baby. My daughter is the one who suffers from it on a daily basis. My second child is normal, and I did not take the drug while carrying him. I would really like to talk to all of you, something needs to be done to care for these kids that are now adults that can not cope. They sleep, eat, are extremely depressed, suicidal thoughts, learning problems, unable to conform to society, lies, bi-polar, anti-social, can't function in everyday life and with everyday problems.We need help. If anyone out there could possible contact me {edited for privacy}.
It's been a problem finding an attorney to take our case.
Hi Cherry,
My name is Jennifer and I'm Pat's daughter. She wanted me to get in touch with you, maybe have someone to talk to that's going through the same things I'm going through day after day after day. my email: {edited for privacy}
Have you been affected by Ritodrine? We really need to build a database of cases and sort out the common issues. {edited for privacy}
Has anyone has any luck?? Please post a contact if so.
We were finally able to get an MRI done, only after insisting on it. A small "spot" was found on/in brain but doctors didn't seem concerned. They also had no idea what caused it or how long it had been there. Have been told by all doctors seen that the treatment would be the same (meds) for his symptoms. We are still searching for the right meds for ALL of symptoms. We've finally found a good, caring doctor that is working on that. Seems like this is going to be a lifetime ordeal even with meds. Therapy and counseling will always be needed. I would like to hear from anyone else that has had any type of brain scanning done and the results. I've read that Yutopar affects soft muscle tissue, so now I'm wondering if the "spot" found could be a result of the Yutopar, if that could be the the root of the hell my son is going through. Just knowing what is causing this would help us to move forward. Once again, not blaming doctors for trying to save my baby's life, but angry as hell at the maker of drug and FDA for allowing its use. So if anyone has had brain MRI, SPECT scan, PET scan, etc. can we please hear from you.
My son is 29 and has mental health issues. I took ritodrine for 6 weeks 24 pills a day, once every hour as prescribed for pre-term labor. My second child is fine, didn't use ritodrine. I want answers.
I'm about ready to throw in the towel. His life gets worse everyday. Depression, anxieties, psychosis, talks about suicide as an option if we can't find help. Only answer from doctors is medication and none of that has helped so far. He deserves to have a life. We need more people that took this drug for preterm labor to come forward, whether their children are suffering or not. We need to hear from them all.
Hello. Also had THE medicine as a baby in the womb . Im 39 now and had many struggles in life. After a long Path of Natural medicine and deep self study i find myself very Stable and happy. I wrote more messages before here on this forum with information on how I worked on this issue. So dont give up. There is hope and there is a way out. If i can do it..... Good luck, keep up!!
I also have a 33 year old daughter who is now so depressed she is suicidal. I myself also suffer from great depression with 2 suicide attempts. I think it's just getting worse, never better.
How are you doing now? I noticed it was A 2014 post. Been 3 full years.
I hope not as I have 2. How old are your grand children and what type of behavior issues?
Re: David (# 1)
Everyone is interested in taking action however no attorneys seem to want to touch this..No one has come back to this that I can tell. I've only been in contact with one lady...this is sad and there seems to be no resolve. Because we can't seem to band together.
Re: Mdijon (# 132)
This site does not allow for phone numbers or email addresses to be shared, so it is extremely difficult to ban together. I am sure we all want some type of restitution for our kids sake. If someone has an idea about how to get our united concerns out there then please step forward.
Re: Lisa (# 133)
I'll introduce my case again. I'm a new case. I was on ritodrine in 2011. I was on IV ritodrine at the highest possible dose for several weeks. I have video evidence of the side effects caused by this drug. It was a terrible experience. I felt like my heart was going to explode. If you do some new research into ritodrine you will be able to find new avenues to pursue.
Re: Felicity (# 134)
Any clues would be helpful I've sat online for hours.
Re: Mdijon (# 135)
Sorry for not being able to be more specific. Any comments too specific aren't allowed through. There is a small growing group of people and we are now quite easy to locate. I suggest you either look at Yutopar Aka Ritodrine or simply just ritodrine. My video is also out there. If you don't have any video evidence yourself of what it was like to be on ritodrine your friends/family may find it helpful to understand what it was like.
Re: Pat (# 20)
Hi, I would like to be contacted. Have any of you contacted a lawyer, has anything happened since 2013?, i am a victim to this drug, my mother was given this. I have many emotional issues, and due to my insurance i am unable to get proper help, due to how different i am, many psychs and therapists have issues handling me..
mom was contacted in 2017 by a lawyer... please i hope someone reads this
My mom tried to get people to join the legal suit. Seems very hard to do anything.
My son has attempted suicide twice since my last posting here. My youngest is now having symptoms of bipolar. I hate this drug, the makers of it and now the doctors that prescribed it. It has destroyed this family.
No lawyer will bother with this case. It's too old and the medication was removed. Many have tried and failed.
I suffer with health issues no one else has and mental...
But too old of a case for a lawyer to take on.
