You are very welcome, Kayla.
And you do have genuine reason to be concerned, I did some more looking into this, as well and it turns out that muscle relaxants are a type of medication that has to be used very carefully in the elderly.
Since the body's metabolism often slows with age, it can stay in their system longer and affect them much more than it would a younger person, who is in good health. The same is true of many medications, including narcotics and Benzodiazepines. Thus, they should only be used under the direction of a doctor that knows to take this under consideration and will carefully calibrate their dosage accordingly.
So, for an elderly person, taking a 10mg tablet of Cyclobenzaprine might be equivalent to taking 15 or 20mgs of it. This can cause the side effects that I mentioned in my previous post to be much harsher.
However, the thing that you really have to be concerned about is the fact that this medication can also cause central nervous system depression. With the effect enhanced in the elderly, this could result in a severe lowering of her heart rate, breathing rate and blood pressure, which could cause respiratory or cardiac arrest.
If she is going to use this medication, she should be warned about this and if she experiences any symptoms, such as chest pain, trouble breathing, extreme drowsiness or dizziness, she needs to know that she should seek medical help immediately.

Is there anything else I may be able to help with?
Thank you so much for that info I will look more into it :)
This tablet contains 10mgs of Clyclobenzaprine, the active ingredient in Flexeril and yes, it is a mild muscle relaxant.
It may cause side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and headache.
