Please help last year on august I started having heavy periods with blood cloths after I stopped taking the 2 months injection i went to see a G.P then i was transfered to a gynae then the gynae put me on a 6 months prescription of yasmin, i started taking yasmin on september last year my periods went back to normal but i still had blood cloths coming then i went to the gynae again after 6 months of prescription he again put me on another 6 month prescription of yasmin last and also gave me ibu pain pills for period cramps i now no longer having blood cloths...me and my boyfriend want to have a baby and we wondering if the fertomid 50mg will work? Please reply

Hello i just want to ask im taking yasmin 6 of nov. And my last period is october 22.. ive contact with my bf same as the time i drink yasmine dis whoe month of dec. I dont have meantration do it is posible that im pregnant but my PT is negative..

I have been on Lexamil for three weeks now. I am also on Jasmine. I have been bleeding for the past two weeks now and am not sure if it is a side effect of the Lexamil or not ## Hi, Leigh! Very sorry about the issue you're having, I know that's very annoying and inconvenient. The breakthrough bleeding is most likely from the Jasmine/Yasmin, since it is a hormonal based contraceptive. Such irregularities can occur for the first 3 months you're taking it, as your body is getting used to it and they may occur at other times, since there are many things that can affect your hormone levels, such as stress and weight loss. Can it cause weight gain & a decrease in sex drive? ## Yes, those side effects are common to most birth control pills, you may also experience nausea and headache. Do you have any other questions? ## I was diagnosed with endometriosis, in order to help me I was asked to purchase the contraceptive yasmin or femiane. I have been doing my research and I notice the side effectsto both pills is headache and nausea, and i have migraine. I believe my wife using Yasmin is what caused her blood clot and eventually her death. Bayer use to imply Yasmin and Yaz were safer then all the other contraceptives. Now Bayer is saying Yasmin and Yaz are just as safe and the number of Adverse Events is no more or less then other contraceptives. I am so sorry for those who have lost a love one or suffered through the pain some of the Adverse Events might have caused them. I don’t think I have the right or the knowledge to stop anyone from taking any drug that’s been approved by the FDA but I think doctors should take more responsibility about informing their patients of the benefits and risks and what other options they might have to taking this one drug. Being on Yasmin was the worst 6 months of my life!! I've read a lot of forums where people have attributed hair loss, acne, leg pain, fatigue, blurred vision, irregular periods, depression, moodiness and weight gain to the pill. Now there's also a lawsuit because, amoung other things, Yasmin is being found to cause blood clots, stroke, pulmonary embolisms and premature death. I haven’t been on yasmin for a while so I don’t remember many of my symptoms, maybe I didn't know what to look for at the time and didn't notice or think it was the drug was causing side effects.
