I want to know is this real Xanax it says on the blister packs made by torrent that it is Alprozolam 1mg which is generic for Xanax but is it real ? Is it from India which in know when it comes to overseas meds it's hit or miss so basically has anyone taken these and do they work ? ## Hi Gust man, Torrent pharmaceuticals is actually well known to be a legitimate manufacturer (even though their headquarters are based out of India), and they do list Alprax (Alprazolam) on their product page; which reportedly comes in 0.25mg, 0.50mg & 1mg dosage forms. So it would really be hard to tell if they were fake unless you got a bad counterfeit from an untrusted source. There are tons of fraudulent foreign medications coming from overseas, so I can certainly understand your concern... but ...

I just made the mistake got prescribed Xanax 0.5 mgs have to take it twice a day, and I typed in 106 s at first and was confused, I just realized now it was upside down lol, this is a good site to find out anything though about any pill, thanks for everyone's input. ## Hi Stefanie, No worries about the typo! I was actually still able to identify your oval yellow pill for what it truly is, and that's a 0.5 mg generic Alprazolam tablet; better known by its brand name Xanax. Apparently this one is manufactured by a company called Dava Pharma and carries a National Drug Code of 67253-0901. Please post back anytime you need help finding something! Today i took a drug test at the doctor and failed im prescribed lower tab 5mg and xanax and i had a few of hydroxyzine 25mg and there for anxiety too but the dr said that i had methadone in my system and ive not taken no methadone but im seeing people saying that hydroxyzine will cause a false reading for methadone on the drug test

Hi, I am beginning to realize that my Xanax use is causing me to be more depressed (I also take Lexapro and Wellbrutrin for depression). I take the 3mg Ext release but must admit that I don't take it as prescribed. I bite the pill in half and take part in the morning and part in the afternoon. This probably means that I am taking the equivalent of a higher dose. About 15 years ago I started on the.5 MG and as things in my life became more stressful, my Doc kept upping the dose. Oh, did I mention he also has me on 5 mg of Ambien. The Ambien and Xanax used to work well. They don't work like they used to and I do not want yet a higher dosage. On the other hand, I have suffered with anxiety all my life. I would consider taking something like 1mg a day (of Xanax) if it comes to that,...

I switched to a new pain clinic b/c I moved to a different state and of course I was drug screened . I'm prescribed xanax, I had taken one of my fiances diazepam on my way there b/c I didn't bring my Xanax and she had her diazepam, will they be able to see the difference in them since they're in the same drug class? worried big time please help

When I look at an image of a legitimate 2mg white xanax bar, the word "[x|an|a|x]" is printed horizontally, but the number 2 is always represented as being vertical (going long ways) on the opposite side. It appears to be facing left just as a normal "2" would. Does anyone over 70 take xanax for a long period of time? I'm just concerned from reading it can affect the liver or you can become imune to it. Maybe it's different from state 2 state. The medication is the same. how can you check to see if the pills are real or fake(besides looking at them) ## ## If they are the name brand, from the U.S., then twe's post should be helpful. There are, however, also many generics on the market and many available from foreign countries, as well. The legal, U.S. generics are required by law to have some type of imprint on the tablet, to enable their identification. If the tablets you are questioning are from the U.S. and have an imprint, then if you post back with it, I can easily look it up for you to see if it contains Alprazolam. Just as an example, a round blue pill, with the marking of MYLAN A1 on one side contains 1mg of Alprazolam. A blue oval tablet, with the marking of G 3721 on one side also contains 1mg. I cant tell I'm looking at them and the detail on them is amazing I mean to go through all the work to make these fake xanax I don't think would be worth the price to sell them for 5 bucks or less a pop they say xanax on one side and a 2 don't the other.
