There might be a possibility that it is a Buspirone tablet, which is a generic for Buspar, which is used to treat anxiety. I recently received some yellow 2 mg bars with the usual imprint of r 0 3 9 and with the pill scored 4 times. The only difference is that they are thicker than the usual yellow Xanax bars. Has anyone else seen any of these floating around. I believe they are manufactured by Actavis (Watson) pharmaceuticals. Is that the manufacturer you're used to? I feel led to share with you guys my nightmare journey with Xanax. I have been taking it for well over 15 years. Sometimes, I would take quite a bit during some very rough situations in my life. I tried to stop a year ago and ended up in the Emergency Room of our local hospital. I asked my doctor for help getting off this nightmare drug, but she just said "taper" off. Finally I read different blogs of people who have stopped and became really inspired. You all know the horror of this drug. I had serious headaches, nightmares and memory problems to the max. I had the Prolia shot in May and caused many, many problems. I had never been so, so sick. It did not agree with my immune system. Now I have so much anxiety from that event and now cannot take Xanax. I have so much pain which I had never had before Prolia. My Doc put me on Gabapentin 3 times daily but this is way too much. My Dr. took my Zanax away because I am on pain killers. I desperately need them back. I walked out of my job last week because my anxiety and depression were so bad. If I would have had a Zanax I wouldn't have done that. I now have nothing to take for anxiety and I am not doing well. ## If the doctor prescribing you Xanax is not a Psychiatrist, you need to see one. In almost all cases when the doctor prescribing a benzodiazepine is a Psychiatrist and the doctor prescribing the pain killers is a pain management doctor there is not a problem. ## I have a problem with that though BL. Most Psychiatrists charge rate of $500 or more and don't take Insurance. Got a pretty good shock this morning when I went to see my pain management doctor. Apparently, I have had 2 tests with abnormal results. One that only showed me positive for fentanyl and another that only showed me positive for xanax. Heres where it's confusing. I'm currently on oxycodone and xanax, but at the time of the first test I was on hydrocodone. On test 1, it had been almost a full week since my prescription was up so I'm not surprised it was negative for hydrocodone, but know for a fact the xanax should have shown up. There are many generic manufacturers and each one of them will make a pill that looks different. There are no rules saying that pills with the same ingredient have to look the same! The size, color, shape and imprint will all vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. The only relevant regulations from the FDA state that they must have unique imprints for identification purposes, but these will even differ by manufacturer and strength of the med.
