X Met 500mg Side Effects

Hi,

I've been taking X Met Sr 500mg for the past 3 years as I had GDM which is still ongoing. Right now my FBS is 96 and PPBS is 114, and every month it will be in the same range. My doctor has advised me to take this tablet for life. I want to know if there are any side effects if I continue to take this tablet? My height is 5'3", I am 60 kgs, and 34 years old. I am also taking Thyronorm 50mcg from past 4 years for hypothryroidism. Please guide me.

I've been taking x-met for 5 months now & I don't see any signs of it helping me. I went to see my doctor & he put me on it to get rid of the hamounours problem that I am going through so I too would like to know the effects of this pill.
