Hi. I just wanted to know what wysolone is and why it is used?

You should gradually reduce the doses when u want to stop the drug. It could be serious side effect if u stop suddenly. Take a brief advise of ur veterinarian to reduce the dose.

What is Wysolone used for?

Wysolone tablets 5mg are a steroid medication used in wide range of inflammatory, allergic and immune disorders to suppress clinical symptoms of the disease. Amongst their many applications, Wysolone tablets 5mg are used to reduce inflammation in conditions where the immune system is overactive, like anaphylaxis, severe asthma, acute outbreaks of eczema and severe allergies; to reduce inflammation and suppress the immune system in autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease, where the body’s immune system is directed against self, and to prevent rejection following organ transplant. Wysolone 5 is also used as an anti-cancer medication along with other drugs, to treat certain tumours like leukemia and lymphoma, and to replace a lack natural corticosteroid cortisol in conditions where there is not enough produced, such as underactive adrenal glands or congenital adrenal hyperplasia, which can affect the ability of the body to regulate blood pressure, blood sugar, energy levels, normal development and protect against stress.

I am 35 years old and a married woman, taking wysolone 5mg for the past 20 years. Now if I avoid taking even a single dose, I feel so tired with pain in my legs and bones. Is there any ayurvedic alternative to this wysolone 5mg tablet?

I am suffering from a nephrotic problem. My urine protein is 4+, so my doctor advised me to take 80 mg Wysolon per day. It is from 2012. Will that be ok to take? My eyes are often prone to cataracts. Please share your thoughts or opinions.

Is homeopathy better than wysolone 60 mg for backside retina swelling? Lasik is already done. I also have a problem of iridocyclitis. Please suggest some better solutions to my problem.

Hi. I have ulcerative colitis for which I'm prescribed Wysolone 10 mg (four tablets a day). I started taking the tablets 2 weeks ago. Suddenly my cheeks have started swelling, I feel more hungry than usual and also there is a rapid growth in my weight. According to my doctor I just need to take these medicine for another 2 weeks. My question is: Will I get rid of the side effects once I stop having Wysolone?

There are 100000000 of side effects of wysolone..It makes the bones weak.change in harmones,gain weight more then 20 kgs ver soon,moon like face..

Wysolone s a steroid, which contains a hormon called Cortizone. Usage of this may weaken the bones.

Hi...
my mother (50 years) is patient of arthritis from last four years.
her rheumatoid arthritis(R A Factor) report was 421 before 4 months.She took the ayurvedic treatment.It reduced to 125 now.But the pain in her joints is still there.Her dr. prescribed "Wysolone 5 Mg" twice for 7 days,1 & half for 7 days,half twice a day for 7 days and half per day for 7 days.
Is there any side effect of this medicine?
should she take it?
Please suggest me.

Dont take wysolone for longer period,being a girl am telling you that you will face many side effects for this..you can take avil25or 50mg.dats it.
