I have seemed to gain weight over the last few months in my belly area. I take estra noreth but would like to take, along with it, the new Estroven Weight Management to possibly help with the weight. Is this possible? I also have RA but have been in remission for over 5 years. Any help would be appreciated. ## Hi, Valerie! How are you? Unfortunately, over the counter products, such as Estroven Weight Management aren't evaluated for safety with prescription drugs. Additionally, on the information page on their website, the manufacturers don't even list all of the exact ingredients, they list some as just being a proprietary blend. However, some weight gain around the belly/hips area can be normal if you're going through perimenopause/menopause and it's usually due to your...

I found a large beige pill on the bath room floor and the only marking on it is a large number 1, the pill is oblong btw ## Based on the description provided, the closest match I'm finding is an oblong tan/beige colored pill, with "G12" lightly inscribed on one side and blank on the other. This particular pill is identified as a Prenatal plus multivitamin with iron; for use in treating deficiencies and providing nutrient support during pregnancy. Manufacturer: Akyma Pharmaceuticals Is there a possibility that the marking could've been faded or partially rubbed off?

It can be normal for some women to not have a menstrual cycle, while they are breast feeding and, since you are breast feeding, it isn't advisable to use any medication, without first consulting your doctor. They all carry the risks of side effects and there is always the possibility of their passing to the infant, through the breast mild. Regestrone tablets contain Norethisterone, which is a hormone mainly produced by females, it's a Progesterone hormone. ## My son of 4 years have mistakenly taken regestrone tablet . Any effec...

i hv been advised by dr. to take this medicine. I had wall thickniess and fibroids. pls suggest me if it is suitable for me or not. ## Hi, Raina! How are you? Meprate contains the active ingredient Medroxyprogesterone, which is a synthetic form of Progesterone, a hormone that is important to the female reproductive cycle. If you are low in it, it can cause your uterine walls to be too thick and fibroids to develop or grow out of control. Learn more Meprate details here. Thus your doctor is trying to supplement it back to help correct the issues you're suffering from. Is there anything else I can help with? *Please note that this information on Meprate is only relevant to the medication from India.

I av having miss carried 3time but now I don't get pregnant someone now describe gestin for me ## Hi, Olajide! Sorry about the problems that you've been having. Gestin contains a synthetic form of Progesterone, which is a hormone that's vital to the female reproductive cycle. A deficiency in it is the reason for many miscarriages, as well as other fertility issues, such as failing to get pregnant. Thus, your doctor is trying to supplement it back to see if it corrects the problems you've been having. When you menstruate, do you get cramping? Is your cycle irregular? Do you bleed heavily?

I'm prescribed progesterone to prevent preterm labor and i'm taking it vaginally daily. I'm also in drug court and take drug tests 3 times a week and was recently informed that i have been testing positive for suboxone. I have yet to talk with them to find out when it started. The only thing i'm taking is the progesterone so if it's not that then i have absolutely no idea how this could happen.

I got prescribed this medication Fluconazole 100MG for three days. I took the first one at 250 but on the second day i forgot to take it at the same time but i still took it. And today was my last day and i took it around the time I was suppose to (around the same time i took the first one). Will it effect my results??? ## Hi, Jessica! How are you? No, there shouldn't be any problem, though you should check with your doctor or pharmacist to be certain. However, Fluconazole is actually active in your body for several days, after taking it, so the dosing intervals don't actually have to be precise. Learn more Fluconazole details here.

I did five years of this as I was advised that this would help. I think I had more things wrong with me in that five years than I'd had in the previous 60! I did ask, 'Why five years?' and was told that that was considered the right amount of time. ??? I'm not sure whether it was doing me good, or the drug companies, but when you are first diagnosed you are frightened and believe whatever they tell you. The surgeon told me they don't use the word 'cure' - that was encouraging - but the radiologist told me I could possibly never have anymore problems now that it had been dealt with. I chose to believe the radiologist. I did ask about the alternative drug Arimadex, but was told it causes bone thinning. I did get hot flushes again when I was on Tamoxifen, which ...

Have been on Estratest HS or equivalent (IP 77) for about 6 or more years. I have no intentions of giving it up any time soon. I am a Nurse Practitioner and have to use my brain for work - as many people do. I could not deal with the hot flashes, poor sleep, lack of concentration and the mood swings of menopause. This med keeps everything pretty level. And, yes, the libido did improve, a nice plus. Did not notice much change when the brand name was discontinued. I may have had a generic all along and not known it. Now I have to deal with the new regulations -- really, does the government agency (ie: stupid bureaucrats) really think that a man would take a dose of Estrogen just to get the little bit of testosterone that is in this tablet? Can this be reversed? Please?

I've visited doctor but no use they tell me to wait and told water is filled in my pcob .no medicence provied to me.so kindly help me with this what should I do with this problem thank you. ## Hi daffodil, I'm so sorry to hear about your situation. I just want to clarify, when you say "water is filled in my pcob" do you mean that you have PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome)? Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome causes what are referred to as cysts, on your ovaries, which are like sacks and fill with fluid overtime. If you have this condition, you should've been prescribed some sort of medication. I do know of a medication you can ask your doctor about during your ...

This medication is also used to treat abnormal periods or bleeding and to bring on a normal menstrual cycle in women who menstruated normally in the past but have not menstruated for at least 6 months and WHO ARE NOT PREGNANT or undergoing menopause (change of life). However, because this medication effects your hormones, irregular vaginal bleeding/spotting & cha...

How to insert it and when? - after intercourse or before? ## These aren't meant to be used around the time you have intercourse, that could actually cause you to not absorb some of the medication. You should insert them some other time, such as when you are going to bed for the night. I believe you misunderstood the purpose of these, their vaginal insertion is to ensure better absorption of the medication, but that part actually doesn't have anything to do with how they can help you get pregnant. Progesterone is a hormone and it is vital to the female menstrual cycle, if you are low in it, it can create fertility problems. Thus, that can be helped by supplementing it back. Good luck! We are planning to conceive and I am taking clomid, is it right to take be taken a diet pill (ie )sensa at the same time why trying to be pregnant. ## I wouldn't suggest taking anything that your doctor hasn't approved of and told you is safe for you to take. Hormones can be very touchy and if they are the slightest bit off, it can make it very hard for you to get pregnant, thus it's really hard to say what may upset the balance. And really, if you want to get pregnant and have a healthy baby, it's just not the appropriate time for a diet pill. There are much safer ways to lose weight, if you feel you need to, such as with proper exercise and a healthy diet. Is there anything else I can help with?

Sorry about the problem that you're having. However, it's likely unrelated to the medication that you took, if it's happening this long afterwards. You've most likely developed a hormonal imbalance and there are many reasons this can occur. It can happen due to stress, weight gain or loss, a sudden increase in exercise, a drastic change in diet, other health conditions, or due to age...

Redotex really works while your on it but once you stop taking them, you'll start to gain the weight you lost, also feel depressed :( ## HI, Camila! Sorry about the problem you had after taking it. That is one of the hazards of relying on a medication to lose weight, there is often a rebound effect when you stop taking it. Additionally, Redotex is considered very dangerous, since the FDA found it to contain a number of questionable ingredients, such as benzodiazepines, diuretics, stimulants and laxatives. Anyone who has taken it should inform their doctors, so they can be checked out to be safe. Have you had any other symptoms?
