Does anyone notice acute side pain while taking this? Right side. Didn't notice pain when not taking it , but have taken it steady for a week and my side hurts . Weird side effect or something else? Have had this pain before and been on prometrium for about. 3 years ## It is hard to say what could cause such a symptom. It may be due to the Prometrium, or it could be completely unrelated. Have you consulted your doctor to have it checked out?

The Elestrin web site says that the pump will give 100 pumps. There is NO WAY the bottle I have gives that many. I counted and logged the results for 4 months straight. I got 42, 42, 40 and 44 pumps out of the bottles. The one month that I got 44 I tried very hard to not give a full pump each day. For me, that is only 21 days, 21 days, 20 days and 22 days, respectively. I am at a loss that the company claims that a bottle will last for 100 pumps. That would be 50 days or almost 2 months for my, 2 pump a day directions from my doctor. I use one pump per arm per day! Anyone else have this issue? I am stumped about WHY I only get 42-44 pumps per bottle. I have been on Elestrin for several months--the results are the same for me. What do I do for the other approximate 10 days per month?? ##...

I had a total hysterectomy in 2000 at 44 years old. My GYN did not prescribe Premarin until the signs of menopause were apparent. I've been on Premarin for 6 years. Though it worked very well to keep the night sweats and mood swings at bay, it's become INCREASINGLY expensive. My doctor provided me with options such as a patch (something called Vi Vance, I think.) Horrible...I was on the phone, begging for the Premarin. Well, 3 mos. ago I went in for my check up and he gave me samples of Elestrin. It has worked so well for me. I am 56 and I have been taking eostrogen hrt for 6 months. My dr prescribed privera 1/2 pil daily last week to induce bleeding. I am now housebound, cannot work and bleeding profusely with chronic period pain & nausea for the past week. She suggested taking 3x pils each day for 3 days & see what happens. Im worried this will increase the bleeding. I stopped taking it 48 hrs ago and the bleeding is worse. Does anyone know how long this can go on? Hi, instead of taking the capsule orally, I misunderstood the instructions and took them vaginally instead, as my previous medication had usually been taken vaginally. Is this dangerous? Do I need to go see the doctor? ## You should consult your doctor, but it's most likely not dangerous. However, if it wasn't intended to be used as a pessary, you may not have absorbed enough, you may have caused a different type of an infection, or you could have absorbed too much. I've been taking tamoxifen for almost one year and I should take it for 5 yrs,but I feel I can't take any longer the side effect of taking it..every morning I have a mascular pain,my two arms are aching, I tried to lessen my work because my doctor said that maybe I work too much, but still the pain continue and aside from that I feel the hot flushes in my body that I always felt I had a fever. Could anyone please explain the massive increase in costs over the last 2 months?? ## Xyvion, which contains the active ingredient Tibolone, isn't available in the U.S., and I haven't been able to find any information on the pricing. Im possibly pregnant 1-2 months. I had a period (first dry unfresh blood then a normal period for 7 days) I took cortal and cobra a few times then cotrimaxzole and coca cola few times and cortal with boiled cola twice . I got Nolvadex and Clomid from a suppplier. Both have a KF imprinted on them, nolvadex are orange in colour and clomid are white/beidge in colour. There are round and 7mm in diameter and 2 mm thick. The letter K have a weird curvy ending tail on it. There is a line across the pill on the back. Wonder if there are clomid and nolvadex this ways? can i take this medicine along with the tamoxifen and calcium tablets ## You're taking Tamoxifen for breast cancer? If so, you really need to consult your doctor, before you take anything else, even just a nutritional supplement. There may be things that you shouldn't be taking, especially some nutrients that may affect your estrogen levels.

I have noticed hair loss when shampooing hair. I was taking a pill c-triest.progesterone 2mg/100mg. Took for 6 months and got off of it for 3 months, Started taking again in January. Could any of this cause hair loss? ## Hello, Lily! How are you? Yes, the estrogens can cause hair loss, especially if they are the dominant hormone. That's actually why many women in perimenopause and menopause experience hair loss, when you don't ovulate each month, or stop ovulating, you don't produce as much progesterone, but you are always inundated with estrogens. You may want to speak to your doctor about making some dosage adjustments, such as raising the progesterone and/or lowering the estrogens. I Have Been Taking Medroxypr ac 10mg for A couple of weeks now and it was getting taking to stop the bleeding, It Stopped for a few days and i had intercourse twice unprotected and the bleeding started back that same day now i have bad cramps and is bleeding really heavy. I need help, i wanna know the possibilities and everything else to what is happening. please respond somebody ## I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. However, there are quite a few things that could be causing it, including a hormonal imbalance. Have you consulted your doctor? You're likely going to need to have an exam and some blood work done, to figure this out.

How are you? And no, this will not do that. It contains Progesterone and that is not the hormone that causes weight gain. Additionally, it would throw off your natural hormones and could cause irregular bleeding and an irregular cycle. How tall are you? What do you mean by undeveloped? I've been taking this pill for a week and a half, and I feel exhausted, but when I go to bed I can't sleep.
