I have found a pill bottle with the label ripped off in my yard with 14 pills. They are white oblong with p42 on one side and nothing on the other. I need to know what these are.

I have a pill that is oblong white with P42 on only one side of the pill, what is it? someone had the same question and had answered it was generic ibuprofen but if this were the case why is it impossible to see in order to make sure? thanks
