Whether To Take Defza 24mg
UpdatedMy mother is diagnosed with lichen plaunus, and she is a known patient of type II diabetes, hypertension and hypothyroidism, aged 71yrs. She is advised to take defza 24mg by her doctor. Please advise, can she take this medicine along with her other medicines?

Defza is a steroid class medication, the NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, fluid retention, and acne. There is also a risk of it causing elevated blood pressure, heart rate and blood sugar levels.
