Where To Purchase Paregoric (Page 16) (Top voted first)

Updated

I've used Paregoric for 15 years and can't find it. Is there anywhere in the U.S. or other countries where this can be purchased?

Oh paregoric also tastes terrible. I think paregoric and tinture of opium are the same thing just one is a retail name paregoric and the other is the generic name.

I think most controlled substances like this will require a prescription from a pain specialist and you will need to agree to an opioid contract to receive it. Some procedures may differ state by state. There have been a number of new regulations for the prescriber and receiver of these drugs.

Jim, Have you been tested for celiac disease? Or you may be gluten-sensitive. It would be worth a trial parody going gluten-free to see if your issue clears up.

But the tincture of opium is different, isn't it? Thank you.

No, Wikipedia has a good paragraph to clear the confusion [en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laudanum].

It appears they are used interchangeably, but my Walgreens Rx says opium tincture, formerly paregoric. Filled in March.

I'm sorry , I don't know anything about it being available in Miami or Havana. Mine was available and filled in Maryland and I assume (but could be wrong) it would be available with prescription in each state.

"Ouzo" from Greece will do the same thing as Anis del Mono evidently does and it also tastes like Anise and you can find it in almost any liquor store: no need to go to specific parts of town. *One note of caution, even for regular drinkers or even drunks, DON'T drink more than 1 shot the first time you drink Ouzo. Give it a few minutes, or you're very likely to either find yourself on the floor or barfing your guts out. Man, I miss "Greek Islands" restaurant in Chicago! Fantastic food... Opa!!

I found some of that in my father-in-law's medicine cabinet after he was deceased, it may be expired. What's in it? Trying to figure out what it was. {edited for privacy}
