When To Start Suboxone

Today is the start of my third day without any pills. Last thing I took was 60mg of Roxy, and a 10mg Methadone, which is far less than I'd normally use in a day. I have my Subs here and wondering when to start them or, if I even should. The only withdrawl symptoms I have at this point are tearing in my eyes, somewhat fidgety/ restlessness, frequent yawning and mild diarehha (spelling). Not sure if the Methadone is holding off most of the symptoms because it is longer acting or what. Not sure if I will even go through withdrawls. I have been using x4 months daily with mostly oxycodone, sometimes loratab, morphine and Methadone. I've been hunkered down waiting for the bulls*** to start but nothing so far. Took a long walk yesterday which eased my anxiety and pushed fluids. Also taking mild doses of Xanax and Clonazempam for anxiety, sleep aid. I've looked at the COWS thing and I'm barley at a 7 or so. Some consisten leg stretching but nothing like withdrawls from the past... Wondering if I even need the subs or if I should just ride this out?

It's really hard to say, since no one else knows how you're feeling. Did the symptoms get any worse, or are they still about the same?

You can't safely take Suboxone, unless you are already in full withdrawals, because otherwise it will throw you there, because it contains the narcotic Buprenorphine with Naloxone.

Hi everyone....this is my 1st attempt at this site. So I'm going to get right down to the point. I have been on 16 mg a day for almost 2 years. My purse got stolen, and of course my meds were in my purse. I have a police report, but walgreens and my insurance company said its a no go to replace the remaining pills I had taken. I have been off my suboxone for almost 6 days now, and have 2 more days to go before I get my refill. I have been taking a 30 mg oxy for 4 days cut in half twice a day to help with the withdraws. I still have the sweats and I still feel like crap!!! My question is if I continue to take the oxy until my refill will I go into PW if I continue with my suboxne once I get my refill?? I have to work 12 hours a day in a 115 degree sweat shop....so I need the oxy to help with the withdraw, I haven't used opiates besides this past week since I have been on my suboxone. Thanks for the advice.... oh and one more thing so if my prescription is due Friday can I go at Midnight to get it filled??

I have found that when I try to stop using opiates and start a bupe regiment, that you can actually avoid withdrawl all together. If you take a very very small piece of suboxone or subutex just after your last dose that you can get bupe in your system before your withdrawl kicks in. When I say take a small piece I mean no more the 1/16 of the pill or strip take sublingle. It is not enough to throw you in to withdrawl but enough to keep of the bad withdrawl. Then wait approx 24 hours and take the regular dose. Take the piece with in an hour of your last dose of opiates.
