What Doctor Will Prescribe Xanax In Tennessee?

I have bad anxiety and panic attacks along with PTSD.. Any suggestions for a doctor who will prescribe xanax in Johnson City Tennessee

Hello, Amanda! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems you're having.

Due to the new directives set forth by the DEA last year, if you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialist, which in the case would be a psychiatrist.

Do you currently have a PCP that could refer you to someone? If so, that might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you need.

The FDA lists Xanax as being a benzodiazepine that's most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. It carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.

Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?

My doctor of 4 years just up and quit. She closed her office with no warning. I've been on Xanax for 12 years now and here I am stuck with no Xanax. It's making me very sick and I'm going through withdrawal. I am in Lenoir City, Tennessee in the Loudon County area. Please help.

I am 49 and my anxiety and depression is so so bad. My 21 year old son died of a heroin overdose two years ago. We were very close, he still lived at home. I miss him so so much. My other two children are both in prison. I don't get to see them as they are in different states. My mother is a hospice patient dying from MS. I suffer from really bad panic attacks. I have such bad anxiety and suffer severe depression. I have gained over fifty pounds in the past six months, I have heart disease, copd and in general, bad health. Please if anyone knows a doctor who would prescribe me xanax in the knoxville or maryville alcoa area please let me know.

Currently looing or a psychiatrist that will prescribe klonipn or xanax. I have tried all diferent kinds of antidepressants and beta blokers and noting as helped gabapenti didn't help buspar NOTHING I'm looking in the Knoxille TN area. Please help.

Hey my dear I'm so sorry for all you been through, our stories our so similar. I live in cookeville tn but willing to drive wherever to get xanax bc I bn on x for 26 years but my drs office closed w out warning . Did u find a dr. Yo help you hun? If so please share with me . My heart hoes out to you and all of us dealing w this ridiculous issue.

Not good man, I am surprised to read this from Forbes about Benzos. Perhaps things in the South are not as bad as I thought? If it gets very bad you need to take yourself to the E.R. Or drive to Mexico and pick some up over the counter, you will need your passport! You should schedule some time with a Psychiatrist or Psychologist

I've been having to resort to a pharmacy in Mexico to fill scripts. I just want a nurse practitioner who can help prescribe me something legally, No other medications have worked in the last 12 years.

TeleHealth is also an option for you, even for these problems. For best results find a Doctor who will treat you and establish yourself with them. Ask for your annual physical, get your lab work done, and make it clear you are very interested in your overall wellbeing, which includes mental health as well

My major problem is that I have a substance abuse history, I've been clean for over 6 years and my DOC was pain pills. I'm actually getting ready to have back surgery soon due to 4 herniated discs with bone fragments floating around my spine (no wonder I got hooked on pain pills)

I feel like my normal doctor will always look at me like I'm a medical felon, he's tried every other medication for me and now he considers buspirone, gabapentin, and lexapro. My friend gave me one her blue Xanax pills and I was astounded at how clearly I was able to think, and I was totally fine the whole night. To this day it's the only thing that works, klonopin has helped too. I don't know how many years I need to be clean from opiates for him to trust me so I'd rather find a nurse practitioner

Well it would be like driving half the USA, and I'm not sure what Mexican Border City is reached off I-35 S? Parts of Mexico are very dangerous, use caution! You would need your Passport card, or the book.
