This was the most detailed, informative thread I've read in...like forever. I JUST found put I'm stage IV cancer and I'm in pain management,but also trying everything (drug) on my bucket list. This is my last one if I GET away with it, well only one more. Thanks for doing all the research.

Because Sudafed Cold and Flu medication (especially Sudafed D, 12-hr), which you can without prescription, but you have to ask the Pharmacist for it at the desk, because they no longer keep it on the open shelves.... is used to MAKE Methamphetamine. You need to go to your Pharmacy and ask them for a print out of the medications you've had filled for the last 3-6 months, or longer if you like. Then take that paper from your pharmacy and show that you are taking that medication, which will automatically make you FAIL for Meth, even if you've never touched the stuff in your life. Whenever you take a rug test anywhere for any reason take a printout of all meds prescribed and a letter from ur dr of any otc meds told to take so they cannot fail you due to following an order from your doctor. Also when you are taking any meds it is ways good to do a little research before deciding to take. I won't take meds that cause weight gain or sexual desire change. I was prescribed a pain med once that come to find out was a short dose of heroin and my husband was as well. I luckily didn't become an addict but not the same or him. It was hell when he finally started to quit and he was very abusive something he never has been. No one told us and we didn't ask.. just for all those out there concerned.

I am a drug technician. I will tell you plain and simple, the drug screens(cups, dipsticks etc.) may have a false positive for methamphetamine from certain OTC medications, however, once sent to a lab with GC/MS it can tell the difference. Your prescriptions like Adderall & Vyvanse will test positive for amphetamines, not methamphetamines. Your Vicks vapor inhalers, may test positive for methamphetamines on drug screens with a low cut off level if it is used in mass quantities. These are the reasons to tell the person conducting your screen of EVERY medication, prescribed or OTC.

certo works for weed. A 32 oz Gatorade, i bag of certo pectin. Drink a drink out of the bottle then squeeze all the certo into the Gatorade. Shake vigorously for 45 seconds. Down it. Let that flow through for 10 minutes then grab a gallon of cold water and start chugging along with 6 b12 pills and a energy drink with at least 200% niacinamide. You have to start an hour and a half before you go in. Do not piss more than three times before you take the test or you will destroy the lining you have made shielding the way for clean urine. When you go to pee you want the first of your stream to go in to the toilet. About halfway through fill the cup. I smoked weed everyday including the day I took my test and I am on parole.

The novacaine you got injected with probably had epinephrine in it. That would do it.

i have a family member in rehab for herion use, he was pee tested and came back pos for meth ..the rehab told him , he said never used it , yes i know some rx drugs can cause false pos., but they said its ok..and not retesting him....really...2 people just got kicked out for drug use, he is coming home wed.,,,is this the way rehabs work..plz help

I take that daily but this is the first time I have had a positive for meth!
I was wondering if garcinia cambogia or green coffee bean extract could cause it?

One of the other MD's in the group, who I had the opportunity to talk with later, asked me if I had been on an SSRI (i.e. Prozac or other selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor). He said that it the most common cause of false positives. He also said I should've been retested in 2 months.

But this job is at the hospital. Will they be avle to tell ive took baking soda? I don't want them to think I'm hiding anything. Because im not!!! But this damn diet pill may show up! I googled it & some stuff says it dont show up. And others sayvit shows up as an Amphitmene <(spelling error).. I've been drinking lots of water.

I don't think one will shot up. Especially if two days go by. But what you can do to be sure is drink 3 glasses of water with 3 scoops of baking soda in each right before you test. It works for all amphetamines and meth. After the test you will have the runs, but that's a small price to pay. I know many people who are on Prop 36 in CA for meth, they do it daily, use the baking soda and test clean every time. don't really know why it works, it just works.

Don't trip dude. There are a lot worse things prescribed by doctors. There is a huge campaign to make meth appear to be the most evil thing on earth, and all the people on here fall for it. It's a big money maker for the legal system, which is just a corrupt corporate entity of Freemasons, just like most of the rest of the authoritative clubs in this country. Judges get drunk s***faced regularly and fall asleep in f***ing bushes drooling on themselves, and demonize other people for doing a few lines and being wide awake. Didrex for sure tests positive for meth. the L and D methamphetamine. I don't do meth, and have taken the Didrex. I got my own blood and urine tests done on my own dime to see if in fact this was true, because someone I knew was in trouble with the law, and got a DUI for meth with Didrex in their system. That's all I can say for sure, because I have tested it myself. Anyone who claims this to be false is either a liar or an idiot.

I think I will go with otc sudafed, Afrin and zantac. Thanks for the info. Ill repost later and let u know if I got locked up. Oh BTW I am recovering. I relapsed. I used to use every day. I have only fallen off the wagon 2 times in a year. Judge me or not. At least I'm not lying to y'all!!! Lmmfao!

Hair folicle tests can show what substances uve done up to the past 30 yrs. theyre very correct and reliable so anything youve taken will show up in the hair folicle. that includes the weed brownie and the hydrocodone(vicodin). im not certain if the vicodin can create a false positive for amphetamines but u can always google it to find out.

They done a dip test, and it showed up positive for both meth & amphetamine. The courts sent it off and it came back as a false positive.
