Watson Vs. Mylan Generic Lorazepam Side Effects. (Page 18) (Top voted first)
UpdatedBeen on Sandoz mfr. lorazepam for 10 years; no problems; no need to increase dose. Sandoz stopped mfr. Now, can only get these generic's & Actavis. Having lots of troubles getting results; either nothing or zonked. Anyone else w/any experience which mfr. is closer to Sandoz (since FDA approves up to 2% differences in generics). Thank you.
Watson 241 /1 lil white pill at Walmart that is where I fill my Ativan 1 mg n its Watson n rite aid is mylan 457
It's odd I got first full of ativan at Walmart it was Watson second refill mylan n transfer to rite aid now back to Watson. I just want my 2mg Upjohn xanax back. Or V cut Roche valium or K cut Klonopin for ppl who severally struggle with anxiety as I always have and I am 43 I never had to take more than my prescribed dose 2 or 3 x a day with those with these new drugs it's as if they are truly cutting out most of the benzos even 2 mg yellow bars R039 whatever aren't strong to take one or half its absurd I feel like I'm taking a placebo at times, I need a good home taper to set up I want off these benzos they aren't doing anything for me. There is only so much one can increase to than either your Dr or a new one streps in and strips you down
Are you able to find out the actual amount of lorazepam contained in each manufactured generic?
Them original Watson worked very well for me, and then it was bought by Actavis, and it's now awful, as many other people have noted. I've also tried Sandoz, and it's bad. I've also tried brand name Ativan, made by Valient, and it's not that good, either. I'm having the hardest time finding a lorazepam that's as good as Watson.
What are some good manufacturers for lorazepam?
I took it for years and liked it, now I can not get it, the brand I have found I like best is qualitest( i think thats the name it has a check mark on the tablet)
Faithfully take 1 4xs a day of lorazepam.. Nothing in my lab work for months now.. my Dr is having pharmacy get 10 pills from different manufacturers to see if new generic lorazepam manufacturer will actually have enough to show in a UA. Monday UA again..
I had the same problems with the different manufactures. One was much smaller, meaning it had less "so called" inactive ingredients.
Are you on medicare and if so...what insurance
Re: CathyInNH (# 314)
Hi. I'm going through the same s***. They don't know how much we are suffering with those manufacturer changes. I knew right away something was not right.
Highly doubt that that persons script for Ativan was 2600.00$ when 30 2mg. Xanax was 15.$$ maybe it was a misprint. But anyone having problems with any drug thst csn be abused , or lets say "that makes you feel better than you do"-I seriously believe because of the availability of pill presses over the internet, that between the pharmaceutical companies and the pharmacy , they are being switched out with bogus pills-guaranteed!
Re: Rigo (# 318)
Sorry about the spelling, I'm on my phone... I meant to say that I've been on watson.
Re: Penny (# 1)
Hello,
I picked up .05 mg of lorazepam but it does not say Watson or Mylan. Mine say LEA. Anyone know this one.
It doesn't work like Watson or Mylan.

Re: Lainej (# 320)
I was on Leading for three years. Did nothing for me. My pharmacy then changed to actavis brand. Ended up taking long naps. Again recently changed to sandoz1mg.
Awful. more naps. leaves me loopy!
I just took .0.5 mg of lorazepam and I'm getting a massive headache, my throat is hurting and I'm having some swelling in my face. I'm not relaxed yet either. My chest is still tight from the stress of today.. my bottle shows Lea.
Re: Deedee (# 325)
I just checked a bunch of different pills of lorazepam on line. Some showed inactive ingredients and some didn't. So the ones that didn't show, I wonder if there are any inactive ingredients to them. Wish I had copied so I could have pasted the inactive ingredients that are listed.

Re: Savannah (# 336)
They're not discontinuing their Mylan. If I had to guess some of you that post out here go by many different names. Not sure why anyone would post false information. Read my other post folks and see what I've had to say about this issue.
Re: Twig7 (# 338)
You are correct, Wyeth was the original brand Ativan. It was owned by Biovail when I was first introduced to Ativan. It always worked for me, but I do take a max dosage of 6mg a day (possibly would have needed less for same effect on Wyeth).
I was able to get a partial fill yesterday of the 1mg tab Mylan that will last me until the restock date given to my CVS store. At that time if it still isn't stocked I will ask them if they can get the 2mg tabs as you've said they're available. I don't mind breaking them when needed, ill most likely have to call my doc to call in a new Rx for the 2mg tab size. Hopefully though, the 1mg becomes available and this is just a blip in the road.
To all those that are in contact with Mylan please continue to post any updates here. Thx.
Re: Henry (# 341)
A Mylan rep called me back after an email yesterday and they are going to discontinue making lorazepam. They do have enough to fill a backorder, but when that’s finished, we’ll all be in trouble??
I would continue having your pharmacy check and hold them for you.
