Think I may have taken a second dose of 15mg deplin by accident today. Should I be concerned? ## This is just a folic acid supplement, not an actual drug, so it is doubtful that there will be a problem, but you should check with your doctor or pharmacist to be certain. Especially if you are pregnant, lactating or suffer any medical conditions that require special attention. Is there anything else I can help with?

I was prescribed Sinvastatin a year ago (40mg) and now I have alopeca, never had this til I took these pills. I notice that this is a side effect. Will my hair grow back, it is so embarrassing to try to keep the bald patch covered. I have now been taken off this medication. ## HI, Chris! If it was really caused by the medication, then yes there is a good chance that your hair will grow back, now that you've discontinued it. If your doctor says it's safe for you to take them, some supplements that may help include B vitamins and biotin. However, if it was due to natural genetics or aging, then nothing is going to change it. Has your doctor given an opinion?

ferrous sulfate green 325 mg tablets ## This is an iron supplement for those who may be low in iron or anemic. ## I'm Prescribed Ferrous Sulfate 65mg 2 x daily for anemia. Wondering if anyone else experiences extreme symptoms when taking this. Within 35 minutes of taking, I start feeling as if poisoned. Stomach pain, nausea, shaking & cold sweats. Approx 1-2 hours later experience severe cruel headache. (not a migraine, just a severe normal headache), with a red rash starting around neck and face. Continued consumption results in rashes in different areas throughout body. Have tried 3 weeks, various times of day with empty, full, partially full stomach and always same reactions. Does anyone else experience this reaction? If so, how did you resolve the side effects? Thanks. ## I ...

Small round white pills, with capital A beside a smallcase b (in a box) on both sides of pill. ## Hi Barry, Based on the description provided, I've identified your white pill to be Anatabloc. This is a non-prescription anti-inflammatory medication, regarded as a dietary supplement. From what I've read, it is commonly sold at places like GNC. Anatabloc is listed as containing 1mg of Antabine base + 500units of Vitamin A + 40units of Vitamin D3. For verification, there's actually another discussion thread here on the same topic, that can be viewed at: Discuss/Round-White-Pill-Capital-A-Small-B-Inside-Rectangle-235726.htm I hope this info helps!

Elderly person needs vitamin with following ingredients: Vit. D 400mg, Folic acid 400 mcg., Biotin 300 mcg., Vit. B-12 1,000 mcg., Vit. B-6 100 mg., Selenium 100 mcg., Calcium + D 1,200 mg., Iron 250 mcg., and Vit. C 3,000 mg. Is there any one tablet that comes close to providing these nutrients in these proportions? ## Since most vitamins are over the counter products, there isn't a database that lists all of them and their ingredients. What I'd like to suggest is asking a pharmacist. They usually have a good idea of what's available and can point you in the right direction. Did a doctor say it must be these specific dosages?

Sir, this is Ravi Vishal i consulted a doctor after having a blood test. I was informed that heamoglobin level is low in my blood and the same has to be increased. I have been advised to take livogen, bentadon. folic acid tablets. Jus i want to know what way these tablets help me and i need to know since iam a pure vegetarian suggest me some particular vegetables which will make me strong. Thank You. ## The reason your level was low is likely due to the fact that you're a vegetarian and aren't taking in all of the nutrients you need. And that's exactly what these tablets are, they are nutritional supplements to correct the deficiencies you have. Livogen contains iron and Folic Acid. Benadon contains Pyridoxine, which is vitamin B6. It's okay to be a vegetarian, but you d...

While borage, evening primrose and black currant are well known GLA sources, GLA safflower oil delivers the most potent concentration of GLA available. With 400 mg per gram, it is twice as concentrated as borage and four times as concentrated as evening primrose. ## Hi Ardbeg, Thank you for providing that information. Is Mecobalamin has 500mcg of vitamin B12, whereas Neurobine has only 0.2mg. What is the difference between mcg and mg? Please advise. ## The 500mcg dosage would come out to be 0.5mg, so there is a larger dose in the Mecobalamin. Some of these higher dose ones have been known to cause nausea in some people. Is there anything else I can help with?

I am a light asthamtic patient (no attacks and I am using Symbicort at times) and I have been prescribed Reparil-Dragees recently (few days back) and I noticed high BP (96/165) at morning times. In addition to Reapril I am using Lyrica (Pregabalin) 150 mg on constant basis twice a day with Cataflam 50 mg almost twice a day as well. I used to have sometimes high BP with tension but I never exceeded 100 (as lower level) and few days later it goes back to 140/85. Just I want to know whether Reparil-Dragees is an adding factor to high BP or not? Thanks you all. ## I need to know for what Repair Dragees using and what will be the out come from this usage. i studied dialy dose 600 IU to 800 IU per day,but in D rise sachets it contains 60000 IU , does it becomes toxic or any adverse effect may appear ## Hi, Narendra! For short term use, you can take this high of a dosage of Vitamin D. It is so important to our overall health that these types of doses are often given to people that are severely deficient in it. However, you couldn't keep taking this for a long period of time, because you would eventually build up too much of it in your body, which could also be dangerous. Did your doctor tell you to take this?

MY DAUGHTER HAS BEEN PRESCRIBED EVION TABLET FOR HER LEG PAIN CONTINOUSLY BLEEDING FOR A MONTH AFTER TAKING THIS TABLET SHE IS HAVING NAUSIA AND DIAHERIAI ## Evion is just a nutritional supplement that contains Vitamin E, thus it is unlikely to help much with her medical issues, anyway. The dosage may be too high for her and that could be why she got nausea and suffered diarrhea. How is she doing now?
