That's not a typical allergic reaction, so to speak, but you can really never predict what some people will experience. Has she consulted her doctor to get to the root of the problem? If necessary however, the dosing guidelines state that you can also talk to your doctor about upping the dose to as much as 1 gram a day. So taking 400 mgs once a day still falls under safe dosing protocols. If so, I haven't read any reports deeming it unsafe to use. Maybe there is some sort of "inactive" ingredient that is causing problems?
