Hi niki,

To gain weight in a healthy manner I would suggest the first option of portioning out your meals every 2-3 hours (right around 6 meals per day). These meals should include natural nutrient dense foods with little to no empty calories, so you can get the most out of each meal.

Another option which would be useful to include with the above information, is to supplement with something that will increase your appetite. Depending on your view and the legal status in your country/state, medical marijuana has extreme appetite increasing properties; however there are other pills out there that can do pretty much the same thing.

Most importantly (in my opinion) is to get as many fruits and veggies in your diet as possible. The abundance of nutrients in them will help keep you active during the day as well as nourish your body from the inside out; allowing your body to better absorb nutrients found in other foods which in turn helps you get the most out of each meal.

If you need more assistance, there are other alternatives like weight gainer shakes sold at various health stores like GNC or Vitamin Shoppe. For the best prices on items like these I highly recommend bodybuilding.com

I hope the above info can be of help to you, but please feel free to post back if you need more information about anything I mentioned or if you have any ideas of your own.
