i have pain in my right eye,it has been affecting me for a long time i recently got perscribed neurobion and indometacin,since i started taking them i have seen a lot of improvement. for how long can i use neurobion does it cause vitamin toxicity if used for long term ## Yes, it can if you get too much, so you need to be careful and have your levels checked regularly, while using it. The Indomethacin is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach irritation. Taking it for a long period of time risks liver damage, so you need to follow the prescribing instructions on it. Are there any other questions or concerns?

Hi, My father took Vitamin 17 and he feel bad from stomach pain. Does he stop to take a this vitamin ? Is there any side effects ? Please advise ## Hello, Jason! How is your dad doing? Why was he taking it? Was he instructed to do so by his physician? It is just a nutritional supplement, but if it makes him that miserable, then he might not be able to continue taking it. This is actually not proven to cure anything and, in some cases, can actually be dangerously toxic.

Can you please advise me on using terrasil max to treat tinea versacolor on my neck and shoulders? ## Hello, Ann! How are you? Treatment for Tinea Versicolor requires an antifungal medication, usually one that contains Selenium Sulfide. That said, Terrasil Max does not contain that, it is nothing more than over the counter skin product that has not been proven to treat anything. Did your physician prescribe anything for you? ## Without insurance, and therefore without a physician, I rely on my own research as much as possible. I have read about selenium sulfide for this issue but Terrasil seems to have better reports in treating the skin discoloration, or as with my case, dispigmentation. Doctor sent me some Vitamin D3 50000iu to take once a week. Is it OK to incorporate multivitamins to it? Since the multivitamin already has D3 1,000iu? ## Hello, Lyn! How are you? No, it would be best not to do that. Too much vitamin D may also be dangerous, though the risk is very minimal, but it's best to just take what your doctor has prescribed, unless they okay it for you to take more. This is an over the counter product, so the generic for it would be what you said you don't want, the milk thistle with silymarin. As to Bio-Legalon, I've noticed it listed at a few websites, but all for $50+ per bottle, no including shipping. But you should know that it and the milk thistle with silymarin are the same thing, this one just has a brand name on it. Is there anything else I can help with?

is limcee tablets used to make vitamin c serum ## Hi uzma, From what I could gather, Vitamin C Serum can come in the form of many products... some of which use Asorbic acid as a source of Vitamin C. Limcee also contains Ascrobic Acid, so it is regarded as a Vitamin C tablet. However, this doesn't necessarily mean you can break the tablet up and use it to make skin serum. Many tablets have binders/fillers that you may not want to put on your skin anyways. I think your best bet would probably be to find raw Vitamin C in it's purest and least processed form, from a reputable organic company. I took slow fe iron pill several years ago ..haven't need it for yrs. Now but it was the only one that didn't make my stomach hurt...now my daughter needs iron pills n the one she got hurts her stomach I found an old box of my slow fe so she can look for it in stores I just read it was discontinued . All other comments aside, this stuff is rediculously priced, and a less expensive over the counter alternative has to exist. ## The highest I've seen available over the counter is the 2,0000ius. You may be able to buy them and just take more than one, but I'd suggest asking your doctor first. You may also want to check a local vitamin shop, as they tend to have a larger selection than most other stores. I have to take the 2,000 and that's usually the only place I can find it around here. Perscribed to me whilst in Japan, I was suffering from dizziness. ## From what I was able to gather Methycobal is used in treating diseases of vitamin B12 deficiency (such as pernicious anemia), or diseases of effective B12 deficiency, such as vitamin B12 metabolic pathway pathologies. I was able to locate possible side effects, which include: Anorexia, nausea, vomiting, and rashes may also occur. If you have any more information to add?
