Can this be a Vicodin or generic, or Percocet or generic? It is an oblong white tablet with Ax5307. It came back when I was searching it as a possible 5 milligram Vicodin. ## What's the oblong white tablet with Ax5307. I found it on my car floor ## NO NO NO! It's Acyclovir 800mg, an antiviral drug most commonly prescribed for people with Herpes. ## Mason is correct, Apotex Corp does list it as containing 800mgs of Acyclovir, which is most commonly used to treat, or suppress Herpes outbreaks, both genitally and orally. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, headache, stomach pain, and diarrhea. They are added so that one cannot dissolve the pills and administer them intravenously. Go ahead add some water to a pill and you will see what i mean. ## You are so wrong, that's not what they're for. Get help buddy. ## The specs in vicodin is only coloring solely for identification purposes. It helps distinguish them from similar pills. Being a narcotic it helps paramedics identify them in a possible overdose. Its not there to prevent abuse like some believe. ## I'm in treatment now for hep c. Sure am glad I have the strength to erase that enlightening news!!! Anyway, I had a feeling there was something up with that! ## The red spots in Vicodin are a dye so people do not insufflate the pill. They have also started putting blockers in them so people don't feel that ...

I think someone switched my Vicodin with something else. Is there anything that looks like I would be taking a Vicodin and wouldn't notice? I believe this happened because when I was taking the Vicodin it relieved my pain to be at least bearable. Now it just seems to not work at all. ## Yes that could be... do u 1st have anyone else living with you that could have done this? Look on the prescription pain medication that you were prescribed and there should be numbers or a letter & numbers following it engraved on the pill. Type that into Google or whatever you have for your Internet provider is & “ASK” what medication those letter/numbers are referring to? It should tell you and most “good” selections should also provide you with at least one picture ...

I first took Vicodin about 20 years ago and I noticed that it made me fell like I thought I should feel if I was "normal". It wasn't a high or a buzz. It just brought my mood and focus up to a level where I thought it should be. I have brought it up to my doctors in the past and they just kind of shrug their shoulder. I'm 50 years old, taking 60mg Adderall & Citalopram each, day but it doesn't work as well as Vicodin. My inability to focus and lack of energy has affected my life drastically and it's become very serious in terms of finding & keeping a job and my health. Also, I'm aware of the addiction dangers but that is not an issue. I take a Vicodin maybe 2 or 3 times a month for back pain. What I'm trying to find out is if anybody else is aware...

I have been seen by the lexington va for 2 years now with constant back pain. I've had shots and therapy for the pain. The only thin my PCM is giving me is tramadol which I have been on for 2 years and is just not doing anything to help. ## Due to the new regulations that have been put in place, if you're looking outside of the VA, you'll need to see a pain management specialist to possibly have anything stronger prescribed. Have you tried asking your doctor to refer you to someone that can help more? Most VA's have their own pain management clinics. Have you tried that, yet? ## There are no new regulations stating only pain management drs can treat chronic pain. Although many drs prefer not to treat it. You can try another primary care dr or you can ask your primary car...

I am currently taking Tramadol for lower back pain. It is not cutting it. It has been suggested to me to try Norco or Vicodin for more strentgh. do you agree? ## Norco and Vicodin are both brand names for the same medication, which is Acetaminophen coupled with the narcotic Hydrocodone. It may cause side effects, such as nausea, constipation, dizziness and dry mouth. However, only you and your doctor can decide if it is necessary for you to try something else. Is it your doctor that's advising you to do so? ## actually it is a registered nurse I know. I want to ask my doctor about it after I get some more info. I am also taking "SOMA" as a muscle relaxer. substituted for vicodin is hydrocodone acetaminophen 5/500 white oblong shaped tablet imprinted with l544 and has an expiration date of 03/09/2013. Can this still be used safely? ## Hello, Zettie! How are you? White, oblong tablets with L544 on them are not Hydrocodone, nor any type of narcotic. These tablets are manufactured by Perrigo and they list them as containing 650mgs of Acetaminophen in an extended release formulation. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and headache. Regarding expired medications, most tablets don't become dangerous, once they are expired, but they do tend to lose effectiveness, so you should dispose of them. This tablet is manufactured by Abbott Laboratories and they list it as containing 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen. This dosage is no longer being manufactured. I have an abscessed tooth, and my dentist prescribed me vicodin 5/300. Every 4-6 hrs as needed. If one doesnt do the trick do you think it would be safe to take 1 and a 1/2 to 2 every 4-6 hrs as needed? ## It should be fine. Your tooth should stop hurting in 2-3 days and you'll have left overs anyways. Don't take more than you need though or we will see you back on here asking how to kick opiate addiction. Seriously though, the 5='s 5miligrams of the narcotics part of the pill and 10 won't hurt you any. also, take it just before the pain starts as you wouldn't want to wait for the pain to start and have to wait for the meds to kick in 45 minutes later. ## Vicodin 5/300 is a low dose of narcotic plus 300mg of Tylenol. Taking 2 for an abscess every 4 to 6 hours is appr...

I recently had to take a blood test for my doctor that prescribes my Hydrocodone because I was just unable to give a urine sample. I had recently been sick and for 3 days did not take my Hydrocodone and i was a day late to go get them refilled so i missed another whole day of pills. I am wondering could this be why i got a letter from him stating i tested negative for it and he has now dismissed me from his practice? ## This happened to me too. Id like to know why it's always negative?

if i have filled a prescription for vicodin can get percocet few days later without trouble from the pharmacy not filling because I had the other medicine filled. ## Hello, Pat! How are you? I'm not sure what the policy is on this now and suggest you check with your pharmacy. If you've been prescribed the Percocet to replace the other, since it's a stronger analgesic, they may fill it. However, if you're trying to take both, at the same time, they likely won't. Is there anything else I can help with? ## That's correct! It depends on the Vicodin amount & usually if the second script is stronger they will have to fill it! If you make this a habit though, The pharmacy will deny you & the government will probably get involved~You can go to jail for this now! ...

What the heck did they take vicodin off the market for? I know acetaminophen.... bad for your liver?.. the main ingreediant in over the counter tylenol. I only took half a pill in the morning and the other half at dinner. And I have never had any of these side effects they say are caused by vicodin. Now I got norco10/325 an...

Can you tell me what 80 nanograms means? Is it high lawfully? I've been told by the emergency room. After a few days I called and asked about results, having been pulled over, having my truck towed and getting a citation, not arrested or cuffed, and when I called to confirm my driver hearing, the women said, "oh honey you don't need to worry, your levels are so low don't worry about it". I then called back 2 more times to get different points of bids and all of then said, "I cant talk about this to you" once they realized it was me. So my "CITATION" was on Jan 2017, almost a year and month to the date. Just yesterday I was told I had a level of 80 nanograms of Vicodin. I have severe pain. My lawyer couldn't or wouldn't tell me if it was 80% na...
