Is 80 Nanograms High Or Low
UpdatedCan you tell me what 80 nanograms means? Is it high lawfully? I've been told by the emergency room. After a few days I called and asked about results, having been pulled over, having my truck towed and getting a citation, not arrested or cuffed, and when I called to confirm my driver hearing, the women said, "oh honey you don't need to worry, your levels are so low don't worry about it". I then called back 2 more times to get different points of bids and all of then said, "I cant talk about this to you" once they realized it was me. So my "CITATION" was on Jan 2017, almost a year and month to the date. Just yesterday I was told I had a level of 80 nanograms of Vicodin. I have severe pain. My lawyer couldn't or wouldn't tell me if it was 80% nanograms in my system and that an expert will evaluate it. This lawyer I had who is not anymore (leaving to take on another job). Is there anyway to look up what 80% nanograms means and if it's good? I'm not arguing that it was in my system. In fact if it's not in my system, my pain management is ready to drop me. The whole thing is annoying. First I'm being told it's almost impossible to pass a DMV Hearing, but mine was dropped immediately. Then I was told that this really isn't a big deal. There's nothing to this. I think this should be thrown out. Can you advise?

It all depends on the test and what cut off levels they use.. Probation is gonna have lower cut off levels than a job would. but I'm guessing you're talking about 80ng/ml was what you tested at? I'm guessing you failed, because if you passed, you would below the cutoff level and they wouldn't find any metabolites in your system. And 80 ng/ml means you have 80 nanograms of vicodin per ml of urine. Let's say on average you pee 100ml every two hours, you would have 8000 ng in your whole U/A. it is a pretty low dose... In another day you probably would have been clean.
Re: Slanglie (# 1)
I'm in horrible pain with a back surgery coming up. It's been almost a year since I received this citation. And the dmv gave back my license and dropped the hearing. They stated there's nothing here. So I found out from my lawyer yesterday that she needs an expert to evaluate 80 nanograms on Oxycodone. I had pretended to be someone else and called the ER a few days after the incident. I had given blood willingly (I got a citation for this) but the 3 nurses told me that the levels are so low that I don't need to worry about it and when I was in the hospital the nurses and patients were like "you're not impaired" at all. The report even said I was alert, but apparently the hospital report meant nothing. I was fine and in the hospital report everything came up as "Not Detected", except for the Oxycodone that should have registered as I take at least 4 a day. Thanks for your input on both counts.
