I live in New Jersey and with the resent changes in the Vicodin laws I am wondering I know you can no longer get refills but is there a restriction on the amount they can prescribe a month ## Hello, Nancy! I received vicodin es from over seas...it is a plain black capsule with no markings. Is it really vicodin, or a fake? ## Since there are no markings on the pill, it's going to be difficult to determine what this tablet contains, unless you would pay to have it lab tested, somewhere. U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have a unique imprint on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified by manufacturer, substance and dosage. Am I correct in assuming that you're asking about the tablet with the 3604 V marking that contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. If so, the red specks aren't actually anything. Just a coloring agent the manufacturer used to help distinguish their tablets from the others on the market.

I had a 2 fills written in Sept. 1 was filled and the other now says non-refillable. I thought the law stated that refills written prior to 10/6/14 would still be allowed to be filled. If I break a vicodin up and put it in clean urine will that work to pass my pain contract. I like to eat medical marijuana brownies in the evening instead of taking vicodin, It lets me sleep better than taking my pain meds at night and I don't want to lose my vicodin ## Breaking up a Vicodin into clean urine won't help you pass a urine drug test. A urine drug test is looking for specific substances called metabolites. When you ingest a drug it turns into a metabolites which is detected by the drug test. If the metabolite in question is not detected the urine drug screen will be negative.

For may back pain, I have a bulging an herniated disc which these prescriptions would give more relief until my next doctors appointment ## Hello, Lamont! How are you? They are both pretty much equivalent, so one likely won't help more than the other. The Acetaminophen in the 5/325 makes it about the same as the 7.5/200, which contains Ibuprofen with the Hydrocodone. These medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, drowsiness and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I got a liquid form of 7.5/325 of vicodin. I usually take a pill with that same amount. Is it the exact same dosage in liquid form? ## Each 5 mil (teaspoon) has Hydrocodone 7.5 mg & Acetaminophen 325 mg. Each tablet has the same thing. ## @cheryl, I don't know if the dosing instructions are any different on yours, but information I'm finding online states that each 7.5/325mg dose amounts to "15 mL" (or 1 tablespoonful) - not "5 mL" as BL mentioned. Just a FYI for anyone out there that's looking to buy vicodin/percs from a US pharmacy. I just spent $280 for 30 vicodin from a so called pharmacy named ordermeds. They sent me 3 blister packs of unmarked pills, which made me so sick. Of course they don't say u are getting blister packs, they are a fake/scam!! ## Hey frustrated, sorry to hear about your experience with ordermeds... But if you're going that route without a valid script, the nature of it is illegal, meaning that they aren't necessarily obligated as a business to stand by their word. I wouldn't recommend trusting any discreet web-based pharmacies for that reason, unless they are verified to be VIPPS-accredited by The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP).

Can 500mg Tylenol be taken in between IP 109 tablets? The IP 109 tablets are taken once in the morning and once in the evening, but does not seem to be enough for that back pain. I want to take the 500mg Tylenol tablet in the mid-afternoon. ## HI, Simon! How are you feeling? I'd suggest checking with your doctor, before adding additional Acetaminophen. The Vicodin tablets that you're taking already contain 325mgs of it in each dose and too much of it in a day carries the risk of being fatally toxic. My family Dr. like many others no longer prescribe pain meds for chronic ,long term patients. as a result of a bad car accident I have a broken back in two places a replaced shoulder and ruined hips. I don't like going to the pain clinics but will if that's the only way to get relief. Ide rather find a family/general practitioner who I can stay with.. Unfortunately, this is not correct. The tablet with the L484 marking is not a Vicodin tablet. It contains nothing more than 500mgs of Acetaminophen and is available over the counter. It is a generic or store brand of extra strength Tylenol. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness and headache. Is there anything else I can help with?

A 100mg Tramazac SR tablet only contains Tramadol and not Acetaminophen. It is actually much weaker than Vicodin, the Hydrocodone in it is much stronger, especially coupled with the Acetaminophen. Ok, so i have been taking one to two vicodin every day for a couple weeks now. they are the 500's. I took one and a half yesterday around 1 pm. I had a random drug screen today around 3:15 pm today. Will it show up? I am 23 years old. weigh 150 lbs and im not very active. I peed probably 10 times after I took the pills. Please let me know what my chances are of it showing up. I am scared. I take 3 vic 5/500 and 1 vic 7.5 at bedtime per day as prescribed by my physician. Prescription is current. I have to take a drug test for school. Will this be a problem? I have read that i should take my prescriptions with me to my drug test... any information would be great. I am 5'3 and 100lbs
