I'm looking for a new pain management Doctor near King of Prussia Pa. I've been a chronic pain patient for about 10 years. Had low back & beck surgery with hardware. I don't want to write a long drawn out story. My question is to Lee C or anyone that can help me. I'm presently taking Oxycodone 30's 6 x's day. My body has become so immune to it that it is only working to relieve my pain for about an hour. I believe that I need a longer acting medication with the Oxycodones. However, I don't seem to get much help from my doctor. Therefore, I'm looking for a new pain management Doctor near the King of Prussia Pa area. Can anyone provide me with some suggestions? Thank you.

I have been going to my doctor for several years he gives me pain medication for several conditions that I have. He agrees that I need a higher doses but refuses to give it to me. He said I need to go to a orthopedic doctor and let him give you a higher doses. Can I go to both for pain medication. I have been on Vicodin 15mg every 6 hour for about 3yrs . My doc change me to MS Contin 15mg twice a day with 3 15mg of Vicodin for breakthrough pain. Why am I still have lot of pain? For many years I've sufferd from Fibro pain and for many years I've taken the generic Watson, which was just fine Now every couple of months the pharmacy changes the generic brand and I've had an incredibly rough time and suffered through the different brands, some are just crap, the pharmacist recommends ti ask the doc to write, Vicodin brand only on the script, this makes perfect sense, but says my insurance may not cover this, Is this truley the best route and dose anyone have suggestion s on the best Watson's or others? Hi..I've been at a clinic for close to 4 years the first year was great.ms but now it's a nightmare, ..how many of u are in this position...it's a hassle and time consuming so I had to find a dr. Because I am going to school and doing a whole lot more, I don't have the time...so I tried finding one from sterling hts to royal oak you name it I've been there and every dr I've seen judges.. They normally come in 5mg 7.5mg and 10mg. Anything more than that isn't going to be hydrocodone more than likely, even the apap or acetaminophen which is normally the second number following the mg is never that high. I was recently diagnosed with polymyalgia rheumatica (sudden onset). Because severe pain prevented me from sleeping, I was prescribed Vicoprofin 7.5-200. This had a most unusual effect on my dreams: They invariably involved some stressful situation (house-fire car theft etc) which endured for an extended period of time. When I awoke I was relieved to discover that I had been dreaming - drink of water - visit to the john. Here is the strange part; When I went back to sleep, I was back in the trauma of the previous dream! There's more. When I again awoke with relief and went back to sleep again to find myself in the same dream but this time knowing that I was dreaming! Oblong pill marked Watson 387 and scored on the other side. Also smaller oblong marked Watson 359 and scored. Are these hydrocodone? ## Hello, Bill! How are you? Watson Pharmaceuticals lists the one with the 387 marking as containing 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 750mgs of Acetaminophen, this one is no longer manufactured, because the FDA mandated that the dose of Acetaminophen in all combination medications be lowered to no more than 325mgs per dose. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. does anyone know a docter who will prescribe percoset or vicodin near Cincinnati, N. Kentucky, or S. Indiana? i was on thr I.C.U for 5 days for throwing ip 2 pints of blood and almost dying cuz of taking alot of O.T.C. aspirin, tylonal and anti-inflammatorys. My 2 surgeons told me that i have to go back on percs or vics. They sent me to a pain mngmt dr believing he would. are generic vicodine by different mfr companys the same like hydrocod/apap 5/500 tab [mall[ and hydrocodone/apap 5/500 tab mck. first one purchased at vons 34.00 second purchased at cosco for 15.00 same amount. do they add anything different or use less effective ingredients? ## They contain the same active ingredients, Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen, but there can be some fluctuations in them. This is due to the fact that the FDA allows generics to differ from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20% of the active ingredients, however, generic manufacturers just have to stay within that allowable difference, they don't have to measure against each other.
