Strange Dream Sequences.
UpdatedI was recently diagnosed with polymyalgia rheumatica (sudden onset). Because severe pain prevented me from sleeping, I was prescribed Vicoprofin 7.5-200.
This had a most unusual effect on my dreams: They invariably involved some stressful situation (house-fire car theft etc) which endured for an extended period of time. When I awoke I was relieved to discover that I had been dreaming - drink of water - visit to the john. Here is the strange part; When I went back to sleep, I was back in the trauma of the previous dream! There's more. When I again awoke with relief and went back to sleep again to find myself in the same dream but this time knowing that I was dreaming!
I have experienced similar sequences like the above about four tomes in the last month. No other side-effects.
Anyone else?

Most medications are known to cause such issues as lucid dreaming. Such a side effect generally improves with time, once your body gets used to the medication, but it may take about 4 to 6 weeks.
The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
