I go to a Dr who does a monthly urin tests to make sure my script is in my system. Guess some ppl sell theirs or take other meds??? Idk? I ran out about a week ago. I took a half about 3days ago and have a half left. When should I take it so I can make sure they come up in my test? i I take 1-2 one mg tablests a day for the last year. I usually run out a couple days b4 my test but if I tell the Dr, he's OK as long as I'm honest. Since I told him last month, he upped my script to allow an extra one each day. I think maybe the pharmacy messed up and gave me the old normal 60 tablets instead of the new 90 by mistake. Stupid me didn't think to count them when I got them. 15 or 20 years ago we seen brand name valium prescribed but these days all we see is the generic. ## Well, the main factor is that the generic is cheaper and, once a medication is available as a generic, most prescription insurance plans stop covering the name brand, due to the price differences. I found this round blue pill with a V on one side and a 20 the other. The 20 side has a circular cloud thing around it. I haven't found it on any website and am wondering if it's a Valium pill. I got a pill from a friend who said it will calm me down..she said it was valium...but it looks differant...its light yelllow and round. There is a P on top and under the score line there is a 5 ## Since this is Canadian, I can't definitively confirm it, but this pill has come up several times and several Canadians have identified it as being a generic for Valium, with the % designating it as a 5mg tablet. I will start out , by saying , valium is a medicine , that is long lasting in ones system . Way longer then almost any other pill/liquid . Even using just once , depending on mg. It can last from 2 weeks , one pill 20mg. Can last up too 6 weeks . So if your needing to take a urine test soon . You're screwed . This drug just stays in ones system way longer , then most drugs period . If you're on probation , plan on failing the test . If job requires a urine test , you better wait 4-6 weeks to pass , before you apply . If you have a script , most employers , if you're up front before the test , they will let you slide . Just had 3x 10ml of the msj and no effect after 30mins, took another 2, still waiting for a benzo effect but nothing much so far, i'm pretty sure they are not 10mg diazepam as supposed to be. There are many white valium from ELMAC india which are not even valium even tho it says on the pack they are, they make you wobbly about, loose balance and not pleasant, be careful of what u take, most Asian meds or phillipino are counterfeit so may have different drugs in them or none at all or different strengths. small round white pill with on one side it has R and under it is the # 053, on other side they have a line like to break it in half easier. this is the correct #s on the pill. if this helps any1 if it were blue it would be generic Valium aka diazepam but this pill is white. ## It's a round white pill with 053 on one side. I would've liked to offer a more precise time frame, but there doesn't appear to be much verifiable data for determining the average half life of this drug. I am fit 43year old man but i am on alot of meds in the morning i take 20mg CILIFT 20mg RITILAN 1200mg EPELUIM 1mg VALIUM then at mid day i take a futher 20mg RITILAN plus 1mg VALUIM at about 16h00 i take my last 20mg RITILAN then about 22h00 i take 1200 EPULIM and a 100mg TRAMEDAL with a 10mg IVUDAL plus 1.5mg VALIUM just want to know if thats 2 much meds to take over a 24hour time line? ## There are people who take even more medications than you do, it really depends on the person, what they're being treated for and their response to them. can you break a valium tablet in half if the effects are too strong ## Yes, unless a medication is a time released formulation, or you've been given specific instructions not to do so. When something is time released, cutting or breaking it could cause you to receive to much of the medication at once and there are some medications that are specially coated to prevent damage to the esophagus and stomach, which would be defeated by breaking/cutting the tablet. My son in law is taking suboxene as am I for opiate addiction but I also have to take on occasion benzos as I am bipolar and it prevents the mania from becoming full blown, on occasion I have given my son in law a Valium but the last time was on 12/24/10 when he went to the doctor the other day (we go to the same doctor) the drug test came up with a benzo showing, he "claims" he has not had any since the one I gave him on 12/24 is he lying or is it possible for valium to show up this much later as I know benos stay in the system 3-7 days max(or thought so) what do you all think? ## No, it would not still show up that long after taking it, in a urine or blood test. I had a colonoscopy on November 5th, 2012 and was given an I V of Valium and would like to know how long it lasts in the body? ## Are you referring to how long it lasts for side effects, or how long it would be detectable for a drug screening? In the case of a drug screening, since Valium is a Benzodiazepine, it can be detectable for approximately 6 weeks. Learn more Valium details here. I took 200mg of Valium on 11/03/12. I have a urinalysis drug test 11/21-11/23/12. I need to pass test. Is it possible? If so, how? Drinking lots of water? Drinking vinegar?
