How Long Does One Dose Of Valium Given In I V Last

I had a colonoscopy on November 5th, 2012 and was given an I V of Valium and would like to know how long it lasts in the body?

Are you referring to how long it lasts for side effects, or how long it would be detectable for a drug screening?

In the case of a drug screening, since Valium is a Benzodiazepine, it can be detectable for approximately 6 weeks.

However, if it was given under a doctor's orders, then you have no need to worry about that, you just need to inform them of it, when you go in for testing.
