I am diagnosed with having Hepatitis E. My Doctor prescribed Ursocol 300. In what way does it help? I feel burning in my chest, constipation, etc. Please reply.

I have been suffering from Gastic for the last 15 days after USG. My abdominals and both lobe of liver are enlarged. My doctor advised URSOCADE 300 mg two times and Livetone syrup 2 times.

Hi good afternoon. my age is 35 years old. I have liver funtion some problem. my liver frofile result=liver function is slight high. my AST=38, my ALT=105 and my biochemistry profile result: phosphorous=1.62 bilirubin total 19 and other all point normal. I have no diabetes, so right now what can I do and which medications can I use? Please reply.

my mother is 42 years old... she has suffered from gallbladder's stones(2), fatty liver nd 16x14mm cortical cyst in kindneys... we want to operation for the gallbladder's stone... but doctor has prescribed urosocol 300 mg in two tyms in a day for 3months..
but i want to know is ursocol 300mg will work for cortical cyst.?? nd is there any side effects of this medicine.... plz tell me

My bro- in law who is a chain smoker, was diagnosed with heavy infection in kidney and liver, his cholesterol has dropped to 13!
So doctor has prescribed him one tab every day.

Is it ok....? Pls advise.

Ursocol contains the active ingredient Ursodeoxycholic Acid, it most commonly used to treat Liver conditions.

Those can be side effects from medication, but have you discussed them with your doctor, yet?
