My mother is living with me now and her incontinence (bladder) is a big issue. She wets herself in public and home is a constant mess. Any suggestions? I have a timer that goes off every hour to remind her to go to the bathroom. My father still lives by himself and had prostrate cancer several years ago. Now he has bladder issues - was taking Vesicare and just got off gelnique because he says it doesn't work. Went back to vesicare Suggestions???

I need to know if my doctor gave me the correct medication. This is supposed to be Ditropan XL 15mg but every picture of Ditropan XL 15mg looks different than this new pill I just got at the pharmacy. This is a new pharmacy for me so I just want to make sure I'm getting the right pill. Thanks. ## Yes, this tablet contains 15mgs extended release Oxybutynin, the active ingredient in Ditropan XL, so you did receive the correct medication. From Thailand. As part of a three tablet mixture for urinary tract infection which included a small white tablet (150-200mg) marked DONAGAN which appears to be for asthma and an unmarked capsule (about 400mg) dark red both sides with dark reddish/brown powdery contents. Any info appreciated (for interest only as I won't be taking them - got a proper med from another shop)

Is Fesoterodine Fumarate essentially the same drug as Detrol LA and Diovan? ## Fesoteridine is the active ingredient in Toviaz. No, it is not the same drug, but it is in the same drug class and has the same uses. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and vertigo. Actually, by looking at this, I see the Diovan is an entirely different drug class, unrelated to the other two.

frquent urination at night, first getting up after 2 hours, thereafter every hour and after two trips to bathroom, every 45 minutes or half hour until 4.30 am when I get up and go about my work. Burning eyes and sleepy around 6 am and after lunch. night urination is free flow and quantity is large for the first three times, later reduced in the 4th or fifth time. chill wind under the fan or temperature change to cool, or the touch of water for washing all increase the urge to urgency while getting up. During the day, frequency is fewer, but the urge is unbearable. mild enlargement of the prostate is noted, but this problem of mine is bladder related. Urimax 0.2 gives a blast of urine every time, but night frequency and urge are still there. Adiuretin 0.1 at night reduces the frequency t...

I've been on Vesicare and Detrol brand but when I became disabled was changed to Oyxbutynin 5mg BID (yes..I'm a RN in the ER for 40yrs). I noticed immediately that I began running to the bathroom with frequency and urgency again and went to my friendly pharmacist, Jill, who told me that generics are good but some have a slight % of not working as good as brand. She called another generic company and got me a different generic Oxybutynin and it has worked fine. Now I am on my way to the new Pharmacy to let them know the same, as they have me back on the old generic made by the 'other' company that did not work for me. In the change over of meds to a less expensive chain PHM (I lost my health ins, the end of May) I am back on the non working companies Oxybutynin. We'll...

need to see what the pill looks like so I can find it among others in my medicne cabnet ## Unfortunately there are many, many of these pills, all made by different companies, they all look different and have different markings, because it is now available as a generic. The only way anyone can help you, without knowing the imprint, is if you are looking for the name brand pill, which clearly has Ditropan written on it. Otherwise, you will have to provide us with some imprints that we can look up for you. ## please let me know what a pill is....it's long and oval, reddish/rust in color, and has what looks to be a 1-2 on it. Thank you for any help on this matter.
