Yes, there are some alternatives available that may be cheaper. You could ask your doctor about trying Vesicare or Enablex. However, they aren't exactly the same, so there is chance that they may cause you to experience some side effects, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and blurry vision. I have a reduced colon due to cancer and also have a Jpouch. I started on Oxubutynin and the first day saw the pill in my stool. Again on the second day also. It is only staying in my body for 5-6 hours. Is that enough time for it to work? ## Hi Mildred, According to medsafe.govt, Oxybutynin is reportedly eliminated from the plasma with a less than 2 hour half-life; and it's bioavailability is said to be about 6%. From my understanding, this means that not only does it not have much time to work in your body once you take it, but also not very much of it is actually being absorbed either. Being that Elmiron has blood thinning effects, I've read on one account that internal bleeding is a possibility among other common side effects (such as vomiting or diarrhea). In light of that it may be a good idea to look out for any signs of blood in her urine or stool. However, I would still encourage you to contact her vet as soon as possible for an examination. That way you can at least be on the safe side. Can you tell if she's been feeling ok lately?

Rowatinex is used to dissolve urinary stones and kidney stones. And it is listed as being unsafe in early pregnancy, the first trimester. My dog is 16 years old and had bladder stones when he was about 4 years old. I used the costly meds listed above but eventually found 500 gm of pure potassium citrate selling for a cheaper rate elsewhere. I add the salt to my dogs food three times per day. How do I order comfora from an Indian pharmacy to the us? ## Hi Wen, If you're unable to obtain this specific medication in the US, I would actually suggest talking with your doctor about recommending anything else that might have the same active ingredient (Pentosan Polysulfate sodium) as Comfora here in the US. I'm aware of one other US-based medication by the name of "Elmiron" that also contains Pentosan Polysulfate sodium. Your doctor should be able to prescribe one or the other depending on what's available. The only difference may be in the inactive ingredients, which often vary between each manufacturer. NOTE: the pill itself is noted to be a light yellow color (in the drug databases), but I can confirm that there are what appears to be 3 triangles above the 150 and blank on the other side of the pill. Help, could this be side effect? Taking 25 mg for about a month now. Have nausea, headache, and dry eyes. Has anyone else had an eye issue? I feel like my eyeballs are going to pop out. Yes, it has been known to cause dry eyes in some people that take it, along with the other symptoms you've described. Very interested if others out there have had problems with KVK Tech Inc. manufactured pain medications. I and several others I know, suffer with various chronic pain conditions. I have really bad side effects taking Oxybutynin medications for overactive bladder and diurnal enuresis (since childhood). I have tried 3 types of oral (pill) medications of which all caused eye lid swelling, dry mouth skin rash etc. after using for 6 weeks. So I was prescribed trans dermal patches (at great reluctance from my doctor as they are not approved on the NHS list due to cost) and have been using it for several months. Now I have started experiencing blurred vision & 'halos' around lights with slight eye lid swelling and finding it hard to think clearly. I took the patch off! Bacterial vaginosis can be difficult to clear up, it does have a nasty habit of returning and the bacteria may have just spread to the bladder, as well. And yes, multiple antibiotics like this are often prescribed, in such cases where an infection is treatment resistant and spreading. I am also taking Myrbetriq and started to have dizzy spells and was wondering if it also was related to medicine. Never had them before and I am starting my 5th month on drug. I liked the drug better than others I was on as dry mouth went away and constipation was much better. Also no problem with OAB. I read al material and nowhere does it mention dizzy spells or feeling light headed as a side effect. Anyone else have these symptoms? ## Hello, Georgie girl! How are you? I have enlarged prostrate for last 5 yrs. In Sonography its size varied from 22 to 44 gms. Recently I have started very urgent urge to urinate, though quantity of urine is not much. Suffering from benign prostrate problem with enlarged prostrate. Doctor has prescribed Urimax as well as Urimax D.
