I've been taking Tecta for over a year, am bloated,gaining weight, craving sugar, experiencing hip pain. Also have an overactive bladder and this seems to be worse. Was taking Zantac with no trouble but doctor changed me to Tecta. Can I just stop taking tecta or must I wean off it? ## There is nothing that should require you to taper this medication, since it is just a proton pump inhibitor that is used to treat, or prevent conditions such as GERD, ulcers, and gastritis. The FDA does list these issues as being among its possibly side effects, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, stomach pain, and diarrhea. I have been taking this drug for a pain in my stomach and repeated belching. After a few weeks I have a dry mouth, sore tongue, and very sensitive right lower jaw and tender right side of neck. My mother who is a heart patient and had had an open heart surgery was prescribed pan 40! my daughter, 17, has had nausea for three weeks most likely due to the overuse of painkillers for migraine headaches and NSAIDs. Sucralsate was given to her and now her nausea tripled. Don't know how to undo what has been done. Any suggestions to lessen the nausea either from this or other options. She's on PPI but doesn't seem to be working. I was prescribed Ranitidine 150 mg manufactured by Amneal. Is it gluten free? I've been having stomach pain since I started it. ## I have to break Amneal 300 mg tabs in half and my throat gets sore. My brother takes mylan 8030 and he has just started getting severe stomach pain. Can that be caused by this mylan 8030 pill? He also has a hiatal hernia, would this be causing his pain? I found an oblong orange pill marked with M 126 that was put in with my zantac 1mg. What is it used for? ## Is the marking possibly H 126? If so, the tablet is manufactured by Camber Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 40mgs of Pantoprazole, which is also used to help reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach, but it is not the same as Zantac. well the pill i have is white and oblong and it says ns1 and im wondering what it is ## It's is a carafate. It is to coat the stomach and help with acid ## Wanda is correct. This tablet is manufactured by Nostrum Laboratories and they list it as containing 1g of sucralfate, a generic for Carafate. I had taken Rantac 150mg, 2hrs back for G.E.R.D. It expired in August 2016. Please help me. Is it dangerous? ## No, that is nothing to worry about, Vivek. It doesn't become dangerous, once expired, it just starts to lose efficacy, according to the FDA. If you have anymore that is expired, it would be best to dispose of them and obtain a fresh supply.
