It sounds like you have plain acetaminophen. ... ## Pj, also be aware of the dosage you are taking. Acetaminophen can be hard on the liver so never take too much of it! But yeah, what HOUSE said is correct. The Tylenol #3 has both acetaminophen and codeine in it and is not OTC. ## He is right. What is this pill? It's light blue oblong. I was unable to locate any specific details regarding the "1075" imprint, but did stumble upon a related white oval tablet marked with "Tylenol" and "1072" that turned out to be a combination of: Acetaminophen 325 mg + Guaifenesin 200 mg + Phenylephrine 5 mg This particular tablet is reportedly manufactured by McNeil Consumer Healthcare. Last night at the er i was given a shot of demeral and was given to take home 6 tylenol3. I waited 3 to 4 hrs still in major back pain and took the tylenol 3 since doc said demeral would only give temp relief. Shortly it started to kick in and it caused my stomack are to cramp so bad that i couldnt relax in my bed unless i was in a very weird possition with my legs to take preasure off but it was hurting my back. Ive also had gastric bypass and along with that 4 surgeries related to it. My daughter gave me what she says is a Tylenol. It has "gpi" on top, then a line and at the bottom it has "a5". It made me sleepy. I've taken Tylenol before but it never caused drowsiness before. What is it? ## Yes, this tablet is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 500mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic or store brand for Tylenol. However, currently, there are no doses on the market that contain more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Are you sure of what she's taking? Did you mean her ulna? Is she on any other medications?

I know a person that took a higher than recommended dose of Tylenol and they said that it equals up to 1 Hydrocodone. ## Hi Ann - There is no real equivalent dose between Tylenol (ingredient name Acetaminophen) versus Hydrocodone. They are two completely different drugs, plus the Acetaminophen is not even an opiate medication like Hydrocodone is. In fact, taking too much Acetaminophen puts the body at great risk of liver damage! So I hope that your friend is okay! There are some drugs which contain a combination of Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone (such as Vicodin and Norco), but in those drugs they act together. So as I mentioned, it is never a good idea to try and take a therapeutic equivalent of Hydrocodone by using Acetaminophen. I hope this helps and best wishes!

It is Generic Tylenol from Walmart. I have the same pills in my cabinet. They are white oblong with P500 on one side and nothing on the other side. I cannot take ibuprofin because it causes severe insomnia for me. My friend died from a Tylenol overdose. She took 16g of 500mg extra strength. She lived the first time she tried, but a couple months later, she took Tylenol again and her liver shut down and died soon after. What are the chances of dying of the same pill with the same dosage? First time she took 16g, second time she took 10g and her liver shut down. I read that 16g isn't lethal to some people? She was a little heavyset but in her weight/height range for her age. I found a white round un-coated tablet, about 1mm in diameter. It has DRA imprinted on one side and a score on the other side. Im just curious as to what it is as I have never seen anything like it before, I initially thought it was a stray tylenol because of its plain appearance. ## That's a children's Dramamine pill. I'm 63 and have been with a pain management Dr for 12 yrs, due to many diagnoses of pain issues. Took my Dr's advice and I have been trying many things. Finally we got two meds ms coton 60mg and roxicondone for breakthrough pain. It finally started helping me and my husband and I have moved to southwestern MO, and can't even see a Dr for 4 months. And I don't even know what will happen. I came very close to death last year in March, my husband was told I would not make it thru the night.
