How long does the medicine last in your system? What are the side effects of this medication? Can it be mixed with any other medicine such as tylenol, advil or excedrin? ## Hi Carlos, Chlorpheniramine is reported to be the active ingredient in Clorfeniramina Maleato. Chlorpheniramine has a half life of 21-27 hours; meaning that it can take roughly a full day before the last dosage you took is cut in half. Most pharmacists consider 5 half lives (5 days in this case) to be the average time frame it takes to leave your system. Keep in mind though that higher half life values ranging up to 43 hours have been reported. In cases like this, the drug can take as long as a 10 days to leave your system. As far as side effects go, the most common ones are listed below: • drowsine...

I started to take Amoxicilin for my sinus infection yesterday. Can I take Tylenol Rapid Release together with it for my headache? ## I didn't find any interactions listed, but you should check with your doctor or pharmacist to be certain. You may also experience other side effects from the antibiotic, such as nausea, drowsiness, diarrhea and non-allergic skin rash. Is there anything else I can help with?

elongated, light blue pill ## I'm sorry, I can't find anything listed under this name, or something similar. Are there any markings on the tablet? The markings are what enable us to identify them for you. ## These are Tylenol Back tablets.

I can't remember what kind of pill this is: abouta 1/2" diam. white with GPI on top line, then a line, then a G5 underneath the line. I think it's a strong Tylenol but don't have vial anymore. ## Did you mean GPI A5 as you stated in your subject line? If so, yes it does contain 500mgs of Acetaminophen and is a generic, or store brand of Tylenol. Side effects may include: headache, drowsiness, stomach irritation and nausea. Learn more:

I need to know what kind of pill this is and whether it has any vicodin in it. ## Tylenol PM is an over the counter product that contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen and 25mgs of Diphenhydramine, it is used to help with pain and mild insomnia that may be caused by it. Vicodin is the name brand for a prescription only medication that contains Acetaminophen coupled with the narcotic Hydrocodone. Thus, the answer is no! Is there anything else I can help with?

i found a small round blue pill it got wet so there are no markings any idea of what it could be? ## Where was it found? That may help to narrow it down, a bit. However, as it stands right now, there are actually many possibilities of round blue pills without markings. There are many over the counter products that meet this description. Such as generic Tylenol PM tablets, which contain Acetaminophen and Diphenhydramine.

Red and gray solid retangle pill Red ## Do you mean that it has an L imprint on it? If so, while it's hard to be completely certain, because over the counter product markings tend to be very vague, I believe this may be a generic or store brand of Tylenol, which contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen.

I have recently been suffering a MAJOR sinus infection...let me start off my saying I have taken tylenol and advil for all of my adult life...the 'hardest drug' has been Tylenol 3 with codeine. I am posting here becuase yesterday I went to the hospital, because I was in sooooooo much pain...They checked me out and ended up giving me a shot of morphine....a 5 mg shot to be exact. Is that a lot of a little?? I am very tall and weigh about 250 pounds.....but i didnt feel a thing!!! When I hear people talk about morphine, it seems like they were living high on a cloud....and for me, I didn't feel stoned AT ALL......I drove home from the hospital...and then I took 2 percs which I had at home....and still didnt feel relief.....is this normal?? What are other people's tolerance...

Generic tylenol was red, whte and blue. Is this correct? ## Well, there are some Acetaminophen products that are generics or store brands of Tylenol that come in those colors, but the colors don't necessarily mean anything. There are other products that come in those colors, as well. Are there any markings on the pills in question?

Does anyone know what it is? I found it in my daughters room. ## im legit ## I am diabetic, presently I am taking tab. Triglycomet twice and inj. Human Mixtard 24 units in morning and 18 units in the evening. My problem is I am feeling numness in my foot kindly suggest. ## If you found a yellow star shaped pill it is probably an attempt to be ecstacy (MDMA) an illegal street drug commonly used in rave and club culture. Chances are however that what you found was purchased as "ecstacy" but is actually not an illegal drug. More than likely the pill contains tylenol, caffeine and DXM. All which are legal. However, I would definitely take a moment to speak with your daughter because Ecstacy can be dangerous now with all of the adulterants used in the process rather than the safe MDM...

THE FIRST LETTERT ONE SIDE AND few lower nubers next to. Vocodine, tylenol condein. Thanks ## Are you saying it's a tablet with an L followed by 3 additional numbers? If so, I would need to know what those numbers are to give you an identification, but what I can tell is that if that is what you are talking about, it is not a prescription medication and contains no narcotics of any type. The company that manufactures those tablets only makes over the counter products.

capsule red one one end blue on the other end with #9 on it thin white stripe in the middle ## I can't find a listing for this, that imprint is very vague. However, from the description, I have a suspicion that it may be something available over the counter, there are many generic Tylenol Rapid Release products on the market that match this description and contain 500mgs of Acetaminophen, but I can't be certain. Where was it found?

My son was prescribed SMZ-TMP SUS 200-40/5, 9ml every 12 hours by mouth, and this is his second full day taking the medicine. This morning there was severe diarrhea, and tonight he has developed a fever. I was thinking about giving him some Tylenol for his fever, but I am unsure if it is safe with his prescription. Also, is this prescription causing these things? Can someone please help??!? ## The Sulfamethoxazole with Trimethoprim, the active ingredients in Bactrim, is an antibiotic that is used to treat various types of infections and yes, both the diarrhea and fever can be side effects of it. There are no interactions listed between it and the Tylenol, but you should double check with his doctor, or your pharmacist to be certain. Is there anything else I can help with?
