the medicine, triamt/hctz, is not longer available here in the states. The pharmacist told me one of the ingredients is no longer being made, and they might try to get it in another country, I take it too, but will ask for an alternative, unless they can get it from Canada.

There had been an unexplained shortage of this medication reported to the FDA and it was reported by all current manufacturers. They did estimate that it would start being available, again, by the end of April, but this seems not to have happened.

The only thing that I can suggest would be talking to your doctor about using an alternative medication.
One that is very similar is Aldactazide, which contains Spironolactone and Hydrochlorothiazide:
