I'm taking Coltchicine,Tramadol but I still feel the pain everyday. ## Have you discussed this with your doctor? How long have you been taking them, at the current dose? The Cholchicine has really only been shown to be effective a treating gout, however, the Tramadol is an analgesic used to treat pain. But there is always the possibility that these just aren't the right medications to help with your pain, or if you've been taking them for a long period of time, you may have grown tolerant to them and require a dosage adjustment.

hi i keep getting sweaty on my face and neck,is it due to all the mediction im on for raynaurds,and osteoarthiritis in both my knees,i also take tramadol 1000mg every 4 hrs and paracetomal 1000mg,and naproxen i just need to know if its the tabs i am on. ## Have you consulted your doctor? Yes, it could be caused by one, or more of the medications, since when you take a drug, you are basically adjusting your body chemistry, however, there is also a chance that it may be caused by something else that is entirely unrelated and only a doctor will be able to help you get to the root of the problem. How often do you take that dosage of the Paracetamol? It can be toxic if you take more than 4,000mgs in a day, which could also cause the symptoms you are experiencing.

My Father has Liver cancer and Kidney stones, the doctor has prescribed Dolcet to treat the discomfort. Would you agree with this prescription or could you recommend another medication to help in this matter. ## It is really best that he follow his doctor's advice, liver cancer can be very problematic and many medications are very harsh on the liver, so his doctor has to carefully consider what is prescribed and the dosage. Dolcet contains Tramadol and Paracetamol and the Paracetamol can also be harsh on the liver. I have been on various pain meds for 20 years after 5 back surgeries, the latest of which is fentynal. I now have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and my pain management doctor said it destroys the body's opiate receptors so I have gone form 100 to 50 then 25 for about 4 months. Dr suggested, since I had 3 25s left to stop for 2 day (no patch) then back on for 3 days, then off for 3 days back on patch for 3 days then I should be ok. I made it 3 days off the first time but shouldn't have stayed off that long, I had a meltdown, crying hysterically besides all the other symptoms, I put the patch back on and then next time went w/o it for 72 hours before I couldn't stand it and then put my last patch on and took it off 4 days ago. Same symptoms, so shaky I can hardly type this. ...

Used it when I had my total knee. Two syllables, I think. Can't take most pain meds, so need to find out. ## I did see your other post and I've done more searching, but I am not finding anything that starts with a T and just has 2 syllables. I know I mentioned Tramadol before, so perhaps you had it prescribed under the brand name, which is Ultram? It's also available with Acetaminophen as Ultracet. Otherwise, some other 2 syllable choices are: Lodine, Mobic, Lorcet, Lortab, Norco and Motrin. Have you talked to your doctor, yet? I'm sure they'd have record of what they prescribed.

Can tramadol be taken with methadone? ## Has your doctor advised you to use them both? Both medications can cause depression of the central nervous system, so a doctor has to take the dosages under careful consideration, when prescribing them together. Therefore, they should never be used together, without a doctor's approval and supervision. It also means that this combination might not be appropriate for someone that suffers breathing problems, such as COPD, or a person that has liver problems.
