I have been on norco 7.5 for two years now. I have severe arthritis in both knees. I take one right before I go to work. I stock shelves at night, at a supermarket. It helps me get through my shift. My doctor retired; and now I have a new doctor. He has me on 50 mg on Tramadol. It's not the same. I'm in more pain now, then I was before. The drug isn't working the same. I have not abused hydrocodone. What do I need to do to convince my new doctor, that Norco is working, and I'm not abusing the pain medication? My husband was prescribed oxycodone and morphine sulfate for daily use after an accident that resulted in incomplete quadriplegia. Over the course of four months, the EMT's were here six times to address opiate overdose. After more strenuous physical therapy sessions, he would become completely gray in pallor and we could not wake him up. Twice he stopped breathing prior to help arriving. I administered CPR until their arrival, at which time they would inj. narcan, and boom! He's back. The first episode resulted in my totally monitoring his medication, documenting dose/times in a prescription diary and posting current status of his medications on a white board. This tablet is manufactured by Zydus Pharmaceuticals and, while they don't list what country it is manufactured in, I can, however, assure you that in order to be available here in the U.S. it must meet the same safety and efficacy standards required by the FDA, as all other prescription medications. Contrary to popular belief, being manufactured in another country does not lower or change the standards they must meet to be FDA approved and made available in U.S. pharmacies. On a Friday night I had 2 cans of Bourbon and someone put a 100 mg capsule of Tramadol into my second drink. I later found that the brand was Topdol and the capsule was green. It made me feel like crap. It is now Monday and I am still feeling very crappy, like a tingling sensation all over my body, and this intense feeling in my head. I have never had Tramadol before and need to know if this is normal or if i need to seek medical help. I am quite a small person, and since that Friday night have avoided alcohol and any other type of drug. Hi, I have lower back pain that generates a feeling behind my knee caps like I need to stretch them. I have been on Codeine 60 MG for several years. My doctor recently prescribed Tramadol. My Dr. put me on tramadol 50mg 2 every 6hours.I was on codeine #3 but the VA pharmacy ran out and wont have them till Feb. I have 3 forms of breast cancer plus cervical cancer in 2011. since I had the chemo/radiation I have suffered from severe bone pain. I have taken vitamins, tramadol, oxycodone, hydrocodone and several others and they do not work. I regular physician is unable to prescribe stronger pains medication. Hi everyone, I've been taking tramadol for a few years for a severe spinal stenosis, knee pain both knees (work related) upper arm pain, osteoporosis arthritis, etc. When I first started taking tramadol it was for a broken metatarsal in my right foot. I was originally given Vicodin, but I made me too loopy so took it to my doctor and asked for something else, he prescribed ultracet. It was great, no loopiness at all, I was still able to drive, work, etc. This became my drug of choice for pain. I requested it when I broke a metatarsal in left foot, then a fractured right big toe. I have been taking Tramadol 50 mg 3times a day and have been told my drug screen was positive for morphine. I also take an antihistamine daily. Could the combination of the 2 give the false positive?
