I have piroformis disease/ sciatica. I've been having problems with my lower back for about a year. Herniated disc L4/L5. Before the sciatica, I went to the ortho and he gave me tramadol which did nothing... So my primary doctor gave me hydro 7.5 #20 as needed since I was in a second car accident (back pains started from first accident)... The night of the doctor visit is when the sciatic nerve started to cause pain. I went to the ER because I have sharp pains in both buttocks, and all down my left leg. Both feet are numb and I can not move my toes. I went to the ER. They gave me a shot of morphine, which knocked down my pain level from a 10 to a 3. They prescribed me Tylenol w/ codiene 300-60mg. Hearing lots of places that the people who order tramadol via internet will no longer be able to. I live in a town with uptight doctors who charge outrageous prices plus insist on doing constant testing before writing a prescription. If true what are my option after Aug 18 ## i wish i had an answer for you, i have been using it for 3 years, more as a anti-depressant. I take 200 mg a day and feel good, certainly not intoxicated. I have a urine test tomorrow for probation and took two tramadols on Saturday, two on Sunday and two today. Does Tramodol cause problems for people on probation by showing up in a urinalysis? I have been researching this on the internet and half of the people say yes it does show up and half say no. I had a spinal fusion 1 month ago and just ran out of percocet. My sister brought back 100 tablets of tramadol 100 mg from Cancun. Can I take them with Lyrica and Plaquenil? I'm in such pain. ## Hey Shanell, sorry to hear that you're in a bunch of pain. If I may ask, doesn't your doctor have you on a continuous pain med regimen considering that you had major back surgery a month ago? To answer your question - there may be interactions between the Tramadol and Lyrica (they can intensify each others side effects), so I would only take them together under a doctor's supervision. Has anyone else experienced weight loss while taking tramadol? I started taking 1-2 50mg tabs a day and 3 months in I'm now taking 4-6. I have dropped 15 pounds without even trying and I think it's from the meds. It's not a bad thing, just wondering if anyone else experienced this. Overall I really like tramadol, it has worked better for me than norcos and oxycodone both. To me it's a wonder-drug that has helped my pain, and my anxiety! ## Hello, Tiff! How are you doing? Whst can happen I took 19 50 mg tramadol what can happen took all at once what can happen ## well rob mate , firstly hope your ok as wot you took is a tramadol overdose i just hope you have a high tolerance like me and you will be ok, why did you take all 19 man i took 8 along with some benzos few weeks ago but was ok but i ask myself why not keep some, answer being i dont want another daily habit so i took all the tabs i had about 30 in total but was ok so you should 98% be ok as tramadol is mild compared to other pain based opiates . tb let me know im jay

I have been taking tramadol a long time. For it to work, now I take 7 at a time (my doctor doesn't know this of course) and I thing I've been having mild seizures from it. I also have Hep C and my liver enzymes were 500 (got lab test) and my Primary doctor actually called me at home last night to tell me to see my specialist and not to take Aspirin, Tylenal, Advil. I mostly read stories of people having problems about drugs. Side effects, unavailability, cost, etc. I have chronic pain from longstanding injuries in Vietnam that create more pain as I am in my 70th year. I have taken most anti inflammatory meds, opioids, electrical stimulation, etc. over the last 5 decades. Tramadol is the only medicine that relieves enough pain while allowing me to function during the day. I have taken Tramadol exclusively for at least 5 years. I take 2 50 mg pills every morning of tramadol because of severe pain. I also take 1 20 mg vyvanse and also 1-2 fioricet a daily and klonopin as needed. I had to do a routine drug test for my doctor because of what I'm on and for some reason everything showed but the tramadol and I don't understand why because I take it exactly like I explained daily. Hello! If anyone can help I would be so thankful! My husband is looking for a doctor that will prescribe pain meds for his back pain. I must explain that he is only looking for something to get him through while going through physical therapy. He does not like taking pills and his ultimate goal is to recover through PT and be med free. His doctor gave him tramadol and it works on his better days, but it is the days the pain flares that he is in need of something stronger. Unless the instructions say it's to be taken on an as needed basis, if that is the case, then your doctor may think they should last longer. The FDA defines PRN in a very similar manner. I have a reoccurring knee injury and was prescribed Tramadol which gave me an allergic reaction, the hospital prescribed me steroids, Pepcid and Benadryl to counter act the rash. The rash ran the entire length of both my arms from finger tips to armpits, after taking the prescribed medicine the rash has gone away but now I'm peeling badly and it hurts, is this normal?
