I have been on Tramadol for about 2 months, have you heard of a metallic taste from taking this? I take Co-codamol for arthritis 30/500 and Gabapentin 300mg. Is it safe to also take a low dose of Tramadol as well? I also have gout. Are there any contraindications? ## The Co Codamol contains Codeine with Acetaminophen, so no it shouldn't be taken with the Tramadol, since it and the Codeine are both opiates. I've been taking meloxicam 15mg once a day for three weeks. Now it does not seem to be helping at all. I have avascular necrosis (AVN) of the hip. If your taking tramadol 50mg and say you also take a oxycodone will it show the same on a drug test or can they tellthem apart? ## Tramadol wont show on a five panel test its an opioid oxy will show as opiate which is what they test for ## What most people are asking about is the court ordered or employment test. I take ol-tram 100mg for chronic pain issues. From HAB pharmaceuticals. I open the capsule and tip it in my mouth, because I can't swallow tablets as I am a little baby, lol. I've been suffering from chronic back pain for years due to fractured vertebrae's a compressed disc and a herniated disc I'm simply looking for a doctor who is willing to prescribe me pain medication to help me sleep through the night because my life is been hell. I'm waiting to go on the Suboxone treatment program. I got hooked on the crap in jail. I'm a week or two away. From being legit, but have urine for parole. My husband's medication ran out and he takes oxycodone 20mg. He went to see his pain management doctor and she ignored what he was explaining to her. Now he has no meds and is in excruciating pain. I'm in my mid 40's and had 4 back surgeries starting when I was 19 years old. Last 6 months I have pain 3 to 4 times a week. Around 4 times a month it's excruciating. Docs say it's scar tissue from over the years and I've been on tramadol and other meds with little success. Just need something a few times a week when pain is a 7 or higher. My Doc suggest pain management however did not recommend anyone in particular. Paterson area or within 30 mins away. I am prescribed tramadol every 4-6 hours, 1 tablet or as needed. I do take what I am asked plus an extra if needed because of my back pain. I'm currently on my last 3 and am prescribed 60. Ordered 100mg Tramadol tab from HAR pharmaceuticals in India. It works for pain. I just can't find from company web site if available in anything other than capsule form. Just wanted to make sure it's not counterfeit. The packaging is 10 tabs per package and states 100mg.
