Anyone else experiencing this side effect? Not a normal topic of discussion for me with anyone but my doctor. I found this drug to be very helpful with easing pain, no sedating effect, BUT after taking this medication discovered I was unable to acheive orgasm. It took me a while to figure out it was the Tramadol causing the problem.

It takes a good length of time for me to achieve an orgasm while taking tramadol. I have only been on it about 4 weeks and noticed this right away.

Me and my wife both take transform for pain, we can both still orgasm it just takes a little more work to achieve it.

same here buds, i just take tramadol for over a week now and i barely have erection and libido as well. how long will this last? If i stop taking tramadol will this feeling come back to normal?

Hey my man has the same problem..i also take them with trams..i been on and off of them since I been 18 I'm now 27.. I can't cum right away either its takes awhile but my man barely takes them but tonight he can't even get hard and its so frustrating!! What's the deal?

Have you been able to talk to your doctor about this? I'm a 30yo woman. I've been taking tramadol 100mg 3x daily for postherperic neuralgia, from recurring shingles outbreaks. This is helping my pain tremendously but I have been unable to fully reach climax while trying anything and everything with my husband for about three months now. I've never had this issue before. I mean...I've had nights were I was just too tired to worry about myself and tended to my husband's needs but this is crazy! Sex is very enjoyable and I am fully aroused and my body wants to orgasm but...it just won't happen. Please tell me you've found the holy grail and are pain free and able to achieve orgasm!

Yup, me too. Total lack of erection. Took a while to click that it was the Tramadol and much reassurance to my wife that it had nothing to do with her.
It is however fantastic as pain relief for my lower back and shoulder.

Hello I was on tramadol for a few months and had too ween myself off them.
When I was taking them sex with my partner used to laste for ages and most of the time I wouldn't finish but since I've been off them I'm lucky if I can last a couple of minutes I'm just wondering if this is due to me coming off them and if so how long will this last for?
I'm a 26 year old male

Hi just read your post and i have exact same problem with my lower back/left side of the pelvis and quite honestly get desperate for pain relief i tried taking none but its impossible. Problem is now though is firstly i couldn't achieve an erection and even when i can if i ejaculate that is it, instantly soft where as prior to this happening i could happily go at least twice :-(... On top of this my partner also pointed out and we monitored further that i haven't produced any semen at all for over 3 months and we are now trying for a baby which im no expert but im sure u need semen :-/ ..

Any advice or similar experience?? I'm back in hospital thursday all my scans ultra sound of penis, testicles are normal even had prostate checks and sperm ducts and they are also fine so it has to be the tramadol surely.

Yup I'm trying to get pregnant and it's taking HOURS and he still can't climax. Have been trying for days. And I'm getting pissed as I only ovulate for two days. I'm getting ready to flush the s*** and he can suffer in pain if I don't get his sperm NOW.

Hello there yes I take tramadol for my back and yes I was unable to ejaculate for at lest two days after I stop taking it .So I as well experienced this side effect.

yes i have been taking tramadol for a short period now but 100 milligram tablets. i can get an erection but loss of hornyness and no orgasm i am going to the doc tomorrow for more answers

Hi , definitely it does affect you I know it's not just orgasm also the feeling to have sex go very low to nothing the other thing it's very addicted, some say it's not but my wife and I have the same problem. For my low back help a lot but if you stop taking you feel strange feeling of pain so uncomfortable and it's terrible. Unfortunately I've got chronic pains and other pain killer doesn't work like tramal it does help a lot with pain.

Yep. Libido fine, orgasm much, much slower & harder to achieve. When achieved much less intense. After 24 hours clear of tramadol things are much more normal.

Matthew...im sure your either failing med school or just starting it. Your way off on the medication,and you could not even spell it correctly. Let me ask you this...how will it effect the liver ? First off everything goes through the liver..but fyi Tylenol is worse for the liver...you pot head.
