how does the pill look like? ## my precription was refilled . the first capsule was light in color, now the new refill is Lighjt orchid . Doe this matter? ## Just to clear this up, no the colors don't actually mean anything. That is something that is entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. If a new refill of the same medication in the same dosage is a different color, then it's most likely also from a different manufacturer. Learn more Levothyroxine details here. Anybody that isn't sure is welcome to post the details on the pill, including the imprints on them and someone will gladly double check for you. Are there any comments or questions? Is there anything I can help with? ## Levothyroxine 75 mg is grey in color very tiny sweet pill.

what herbs if any can I take with levothyroxine and anapril ## Unfortunately, I can't check for you that way, it's rather backwards. I'm sorry. There are just far too many possible interactions for me to list them all in such a manner. However, if you can post back with the specific herbal preparations that you'd like to take, then I can check for you to see if there are any known problems listed. You can learn more Levothyroxine details here and you can learn more Enalapril details here. Can you please post back with more details? Thanks!

i use d.s.itp estrogen methyltestos. how safe is it? what side effects? estrogen methyltestos is this a safe and a good choice or should i use another manufacture? ## All medications carry risks and side effects, regardless of who manufactures them. These will also not change just because it is made by a different company. With this you may experience: weight gain, headaches and nausea. Is there anything else I can help you with? ## My blood pressure has recently gone up...consistently around 189-198 over 80 or greater. I take Estrogen Methtest, Synthroid, Benicar 40mg...have been having bronco spasms for the last few months so I saw a pulmonary doctor who added Advair, Veramyst and Prilosec. i just started taking levo today and after reading all the negative responses,im not sure if i want to take my 2nd dose is their anybody that is benefiting from this drug? ## I actually know someone who has to take Levothyroxine everyday for the rest of their lives, as a means of thyroid replacement hormones. From what I've been told, the medication itself hasn't had any ill effects on her overall well-being. Although I think it just goes to show that these medications really can effect each individual differently. I also think most people who do post on forums in general, often do so to complain about what their taking. Those without complications have little to no reason to seek information or advice from online forums and therefore you do not hear much about the positive aspe...

my tsh test report is 56.9 ulU/ml . iam pregnant of 4 months and taking 50mg thyroxin tablets .should i continue intake of tablet or is it harmful to my baby ## I am male of 63 years old I found my TSH 11.6 before 2 months my doctor advised Thyoroxine 25 mg tab for first 30 days then TSH remained 6.68 now i am taking the same tablet of 50 mg. Sir I want to know is it to be continued for many yers or may be discontinued. Thanks ## sarafeen, what has your doctor advised? Levothyroxine is a naturally occurring hormone in the body, so in these doses that usually just replace what your body is missing, it hasn't been known to cause harm to the baby. And Ram, it's really going to depend on how you respond to the current dosage of the medication. Have you talked to your doctor about it?...

I was told this is Armour. Looks like its totally not. I ordered it from India but it says thyroxine sodium tablets. Paid 140 bucks for it to. Which from what I'm reading its totally not Armour. Correct? ## You are correct. Armour actually contains desiccated thyroid gland from pigs. You can learn more Armour details here. Unfortunately, that's one of the hazards from ordering in such a manner, there's really no way of knowing what you may receive. Have you tried contacting the place you ordered from?

Can one use the Sensa diet while on Levothyroxine 50 mcg ## @Jenny, Based on my own research I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use Sensa, since it's ingredients are considered safe and for the most part natural. The dietary guidelines for Levothyroxine also note the following: "Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, continue your normal diet." - so I don't think you should have to be overly concerned about that. Referenced from: nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/meds/a682461.html#special-dietary I hope this helps!

What are the numbers on the tabs? ## The marking will be different from manufacturer to manufacturer, since they all have to use a unique imprint. What are the markings on the tablets you have? Some markings include: M L10 JSP 519 and 3919 V But this is NOT a complete list, if you post back with the markings on the tablet you are questioning, I will gladly look it up for you! ## Why have chemists in u.k. given me two DIFFERENT BRANDS of levothyroxine (I take 125mg daily) EVERY time I get prescription past few years. THEY say its because they have to purchase 'cheapest' drug each week. I DON@T BELIEVE THIS. And stated that in the law of averages - they MUST have one drug company that sells both 100mg and 25mg cheaper than others in SAME WEEK. I believe this is a scam - to prevent...
